Ingo's Art Cafe — Restaurant in Truth or Consequences

My friends and I met up in T or C recently and visited this coffee shop. Ingo, the owner, greeted us with so much enthusiasm it was euphoric almost. He offers organic coffees and teas that he whips up himself with many choices, hot or cold. There are different areas to sit and look at various books, you can play board games or just look at the art. Musicians that play locally add their own "art" to the walls. The place has a retro decor which is very colorful and fun to look at. There are items to buy and "hidden" pictures in the paintings on the wall. Ingo's enthusiasm is contagious as he made suggestions for us to customize, our beverage to our tastes. This place will always be one of my stops when I'm in town to soak in the mineral waters. I've only ever been inside of Ingo's cafe one time, within the past month and a half. It's got a welcoming feeling, and the place just feels comfortable. I watched as he prepared and served a couple of espresso drinks for two customers, and it reminded me of my own barista days.. sigh... I didn't order anything because I was actually in search of a venue for a dance event I'd been planning, and I was told that Ingo was the one to talk to about such a thing. I've since been invited by him personally to come over for a coffee, however, I just haven't taken the time to go take him up on his offer yet. What a charming, relaxing, gem of a coffee shop. We were visiting Truth or Consequences for a week and stumbled upon this place. We ordered our coffee and tea and then relaxed in a cozy spot; we chose window seating with comfy chairs with an accompaniment of many interesting books.
