The sign ushered me in.. “Eat here or we’ll both starve”. Loved the sign enough to eat there and loved every minute. Very welcoming atmosphere with good sized potions of homemade food. Real corned beef hash, not from a can. There are even protein variants in the bacon. You can have your basic pig or spring for lamb or buffalo bacon. Great little place to enjoy the morning. ***Update*** Took my partner here about 5 months ago ago and it seems completely different to me now. Buffalo bacon no longer a thing.. and the prices were so expensive we ended up paying over $60 for 2 people to eat breakfast food. No way Jose. That was a waste and I have to update my rating. I miss the way it was and sad that it’s become so unaffordable. Good is now below average for the cost, in my opinion.

Millers Homestead is a gem! Growing up in Lake Oswego, I had been there before, but it was so long ago I forgot how amazing this place is. The service is very attentive and welcoming. My coffee was always full. The menu is big enough that it's hard to decide what to have. This time, I settled on the Banana Pancakes, and guest had the Dutch Pancake. The presentation and taste were like homemade. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but they stay busy! We were seated immediately even though it was very busy. At times, there can be a wait, so being your patience. It will be worth it! I plan on returning for lunch as I saw they have a Monte Cristo on the lunch menu!

If you are looking for homemade vegan breakfast options out here, this is a good place! This is a restaurant that I first heard about due to an occasional vegan special that would be featured on some weekends. So I went to visit and discovered that, in addition to specials, they also have excellent lions mane dishes on the regular menu! While they don't yet, technically, have a vegan menu, the owner of the place is vegan themselves. Anytime I have asked for additional details or options the staff has been happy to speak with him and then return with either a custom item selection or recommendation to try. Every single one of those ideas has been excellent!

Today was the last time I will ever eat at Miller's. Which is too bad, because the food isn't bad.

The customer service, however, is horrible.

I recently got an email from Amazon Local saying I needed to use a $20 off breakfast voucher at Miller's. I checked my voucher list online, and sure enough the site showed it as unused.

My wife and I presented the voucher before we ordered, and asked the waitress if the voucher was good. She said it was.

After finishing our meal, the waitress came to the table and said their records showed the voucher had already been used. I told her we got the Amazon Local email, and Amazon Local showed it as unused. She said the restaurant doesn't have a computer to enter when vouchers are used, but instead logs them manually in a written logbook. She said lots of customers were upset today because they brought in vouchers which were no good, even though Amazon Local said they were unused.

I asked to see the manager. I explained to her that we had asked before our meal if the voucher was still good, and were told it was. She said the waitress doesn't work many days, and should have taken the time to look it up in their logbook. I said if we knew it was no good, then we would not have ordered what we did.

Then the manager said that she noticed our voucher was one of the ones that for some reason was not entered into their computer, and showed me that other vouchers had check marks next to them but ours didn't. She said she hopes the owner doesn't do coupon deals again, because so many customers are upset that their vouchers are no good.

I said so you do have a computer, you do enter vouchers, but you missed ours. Also, your staff is supposed to check the voucher before the customer orders, but she didn't do so today. Also, there is no date listed as to when we supposedly already used the voucher in the logbook.

She said that was right, and she was sorry, and walked away. We're out $20 with no offer to discount our meal at all for their mistakes. They're out any future business from us, and probably lots of others who walked out...

Super disappointed. We ordered two Belgian Waffles and two orders of eggs and bacon online through Grub Hub this morning and then waited in the parking lot until we got the notification that our food was ready. Once we took our order back to our vehicle we noticed that one order of bacon and eggs was missing so my wife brought it back in when wheras the manager gaslit her and told her that she should have called the order in instead of ordering through GrubHub because GrubHub often makes mistakes. (My wife showed her the online order which confirmed our order) They then proceeded to make another order of bacon and eggs to fulfill the order. In the meantime our waffles which were already "less then warm" continued to get colder. When my wife asked the manager if they could heat the waffles up the manger declined and told her it would make the waffles soggy. Fast forward 5 minutes later and the order was completed, my wife brought it to the car only to find that the waffles were cold (and very soggy anyway). The eggs were undercooked and the syrup, which was obviously just taken out of the low boy cooler, was fridged. What's crazy is that it's not like we had this food delivered. I'd expect colder food through delivery. We ordered it online in the parking lot and ate it there. What makes it worse is the manager's continued attempts to defect the issue onto GrubHub, and subsequently onto us for using GrubHub, a service the resturant provides, and the staffs unwillingness to rectify issues with our order.

20 plus years in the industry and frankly I've had better food and service...

I'm annoyed. I went in with my boyfriend to eat this morning and the woman led us to our seats without menus. After five minutes we went up to the front to get the menus ourselves. We thought she just forgot. As we ate the lady who went around filling drinks completely ignored us and always went past our table. We showed that we were clearly done eating and the lady came up to take our plates but offered no check. Then 10 minutes later she came for our next plate that had been waiting from the first time she came around and took that without mention of the check. I was annoyed. How could they forget? Then I just lost it as I saw her print out a check for a table that had gotten there way after us. We waited even longer thinking she would come with our check but I ended up walking up to her asking for a manager. She claimed she was a manager but I would be completely disappointed if that was true. Her excuse when I explained the situation? "It was busy and we were short handed" I look around the room to make sure, and the whole time we were there their was only 5 tables. Come on. I'm annoyed and this used to be one of my favorite places to go. Never coming back. Service is terrible. the lady's attitude was fake and it was obvious she didn't care. I am a waitress and I understand when things happen but the circumstances they were in gave them no reason to be this slow. I saw four employees and their were only five tables.... Come on now. I wish I could speak to a real manager about this or hope that people see how terrible the service is. Never...
