This was my second time here and I had a terrible experience with service. I didn’t know the hours for this place, and was on my way home from the gym, so thought I could pop by to see if the place was open.
Today, I arrived at 8:50pm and tried the drive through. As I go to order, the young lady taking my order was incredibly short and aggressive with me, which I came to find was because closing was 9pm…. I was depending on YOU to tell me if you were soon to close, and I would’ve totally understood and found another place to eat. In fact, I would’ve preferred you told me there was 10 minutes to close rather than be rude and aggressive towards me, reluctantly taking my order, and taking out your aggression about serving until the clock strikes 9pm.
I asked the gentleman at the window, “Are you guys closing soon or something?”. He ignored me at first and I asked again, and he said “Yeah, 9pm”. I said “I’m sorry!!” and he just turned away…
I have worked in retail and had late 10 pm closing shifts with people coming, and i had to serve them right as I was closing the door… sure, I’ve been annoyed by it and was eager to go home, but you need to give people the benefit of the doubt... I really didn’t know closing is 9pm because I hadn’t a chance to get on my phone, and just hoped...
Read moreFirst of all, let me stay. I’m a previous general manager in multiple states… The customer service here is horrible! The chicken is really good, but if I order extra chicken on a salad, expect to see it.. On top of that, I asked for extra dressing which they charge me extra… and its a lot less than the dressings that you’ll get from anywhere else.. But they also charge you for it. Yeah, that’s what I’m saying if you go get a salad from somewhere else (Also, the salad is small) You’ll get more toppings with more feeling and also you would get more than one dressing rather than paying a dollar or two for it.. Which isn’t even that appetizing… the dressing I’m speaking of..
The chicken has a really good taste to it however, like I said, I got extra chicken and I would like to see it versus paying for it. I stopped by Chick-fil-A right next to this location and got some grilled chicken to add to my salad. Which means I spent extra money on top of extra money. Businesses have to do better, no matter what level they’re at.
The service was pretty fast however, if we work on quantity ,quality, but also CUSTOMER SERVICE. I think this establishment would really...
Read moreThis is the best deal in the city for healthy salads. For $5 you get a salad full of good ingredients, including generous portions of a protein like chicken or falafel. (It's $3 more if you opt for beef, more if you opt for wild-caught shrimp.) Many of the salads have avocado included. I'm full when I'm finished. Again: $5. (You'd pay more for a crappy small iceberg "salad" full of sugary cheap dressing elsewhere.) They are mindful of the little things, like no seed oil (very rare!), and some organic ingredients, and minimizing plastic. I can taste the quality of the ingredients in the sauces. I appreciate you can order non-sugared drinks (like unsweetened iced tea), and the flavored additives taste natural not sugarly (and only about $1). They've really improved the web site lately, you now get a much better sense of what the options are and what you'll be getting. Tip: Unlike the Angie's Lobster, with the Grill the drive through is more efficient than pick-up because they don't really like to answer questions inside and you need to make your own drinks. The lack of personal interaction is how they keep prices low, but you should be aware of this...
