Funny, all those times I passed by this place, I thought it read “Barrio’s”. Nope, Barro’s. It’s an Arizona-based pizza chain offering their take on Chicago-style pizza, based on Grandma Angelina Barro’s recipes. If you like slices of hot, mouthwatering thick crust pizza, a bit on the gooey / greasy side, you’ll love it. You queue up to order at the counter, where you’ll either be served immediately or given a number table stand so they can bring out your order when it’s ready. Lunch hour, so I went with one of their specials, #6 — three slices & a small drink, one slice each of pepperoni, sausage & the Barro’s special. Paid by card and amazingly, no prompt to leave a tip! Yes, this restaurant doesn’t panhandle / guilt their counter-service customers for 25% handouts in the guise of showing appreciation for their staff for simply doing their jobs. Lunch total was $10.05. They were doing a brisk business when I arrived; a couple of large parties of work colleagues, several families. TV’s around the premises tuned to sports channels, Sirius XM playing contemporary indie rock/pop, a handful of video games. Some dB commotion between Doggy Star radio & one of the rather boisterous video games unhappy at being ignored — radio just shy of too loud, but the video game’s obnoxious voice could annoy. As for hygiene, the dining tables, serving counters, floors and restrooms all clean within reason. Not really my style of pizza (too doughy) or restaurant, but that’s just a matter of personal tastes. If you were contemplating a family pizza night out, this place is head and shoulders above any of those behemoth corporate national chains: good quality American pizza at correct prices. Two doors down from Barro’s, Bisbee Breakfast Club uses their large front landing as a patio. Would be nice if Barro’s could do the same.

Had to update my 4 year old 5 star review to 3 stars. We eat here a few times a month and have noticed that the customer service and food quality have gone downhill recently. Employees seem hurried and short on the phone when I call in my order. The last Barros special pizzas were ordered came out looking like someone dumped all the toppings right in the middle. Because of all the toppings the middle didn’t cook and was soggy. Other than those issues the food is generally good and the employees are friendly and helpful. We will give Barros a few more tries but there are some other really good options on the area for this price range.

Love the chicken supreme pizza and the option to substitute pizza sauce for white sauce. This is the only location that offers that. My work orders here several times a week, it's always an option for us since they also have vegan options. They also deliver, which helps on days we can't leave. I've had most of the menu by now, and I see no reason as to why anyone wouldn't enjoy this place. I do feel like they don't read the special instructions sometimes. Our vegan employee asks for his pizza to be cooked extra well done, dark on the bottom, and they just don't. He's the last to eat and perfers it that way.

I asked for and ordered a large works pizza extra crispy. My girlfriend and I each had 1 piece and we both agreed it was definitely not extra crispy. When I nicely asked if they could put it back in the oven to make it extra crispy as I requested they said they couldn't nor did they offer to remake it either. What a terrible manager on duty. It was their mistake on my order so they should take care of their customers and get them what their customers actually ordered. Also when we were there eating that day, an elderly couple sitting next to us got their pizza and they complained that they requested thin crust for their 2 pizza's and neither the their pizza's were thin crust they were the regular crust. I know they weren't thin crust as they had requested because my pizza was thin crust and theirs were obliviously not thin crust. When they complained to the girl that handed their pizzas to the elderly couple she just flat out lied to them and said oh these are thin crust but if you wanted thinner then this you should have told the cashier you wanted extra thin pizzas and they would of smashed down the crust even flatter What a crock of lies right there. The elderly couple never actually got the thin crust pizzas they ordered and the cook instead gave them the regular thickness pizzas and lied that they were thin crust. When the elderly couple requested the pizzas to be made again as they requested the girl said it's going to be 1 hour at least because they were too busy and that the elderly couple would have to wait in line behind the other pizzas being made. Again poor customer service...

Let’s start off by saying OMG The FOOD! Is Amazing. It was our first time trying it we went in got greeted right away. We we're very excited to try it we ordered 5 xl pizza two orders of 12 piece wings, mozzarella sticks ,with a salad. Too go…

As we were greeted the front counter persons were rude. How does someone expect a tip when a tip is earned (when I tip first off you should be serving and if not than be present as in good customer service welcome thank you can I get you anything else with a smile.) it was all very rude no customer service or help the two young girls one blonde the other dark hair that we’re taking orders out acted as we we’re not there waiting for condiments for our pizzas 🍕 we got and we were only given 5 cheese and peppers for 5xl pizza well we only received and then they got upset cause we asked for more smh. 🤦‍♀️ the young dark hair girl then asked if we needed help as her blonde friend gave us the bag with 5 condiments in it and walked away not stopping to see if there was anything else we may have needed. Then standing there another 5mins till the dark hair girl helped us with more items thank you… It seem like a not a welcoming environment and no one cared for there jobs. Customer service was so rude and not inviting. For being such a beautiful restaurant pizza spot I hope the owner hires some more girls/humans that want to make ppl feel at home in such a beautiful place with great pizza! (AMAZING). Sorry for the bad first review for my first time don’t know if I will return maybe order my pizza a head of time. Definitely would eat the...
