food was ok. service was ok. but its literally a bar. since we rarely go to bars. i felt a bit out of place. but ill break down thoughts on food a bit further. so. i ordered the brisket and gravy sandwich. it was ok. a bit dry. the "gravy" was more of an jus type thing. the gravy lacked flavor a bit. but added much needed moisture. the bread of the sandwich was dense enough that it soaked up some but didnt make it soggy. the onion was decently cooked. maybe a pinch of salt and pepper would help. the brisket. bit tough. tasted ok tho. but reminded me of like pot roast tho. which was odd. 🤔 over all a solid 4. if it had more taste. i might go 4.5 or higher. the fries were surprising. very crisp. a bit crunchy. loads of some sort of seasoning salt. i believe maybe either lawry's or something similar. great fries. id give them 5/5 for crisp and taste. texture was a bit off. maybe not the freshest fries. but over all solid and 4.5 is a fair score. my wife ordered the ruben. minus pickle. add onion. same toasted bread. bit dry but she says 4/5 for it. i tasted it. bit too much mustard for my liking. but she liked it. the onion rings she got i also tried. solid onion ring. maybe a bit greasy. could certainly use a pinch of salt. but id say 4/5. very good. but not great. as for atmosphere. again. being a bar. wasnt super fond of it. but it was fine. love the fact diet dr pepper was available! over all. great experience. would...

Although I love the fact that the shows are early and over early so I can get up the next day With plenty of rest… I find that the owner is not very mindful of people. The sound system is way too loud and I have to wear headphones every time I go in order to save what little hearing I have left. Last Saturday there was a group of young people and young bands, and it was a lot of fun to watch kids from age 10 on up. Have a great time but the owner Bill was overheard saying to turn up the sound system because he was not running a teeny bopper establishment. If that’s not mean spirited and not caring about people, I don’t know what is. The food is okay. The french fries are overly salted and Bill only puts a tablespoon of coleslaw on the side. I doubt if we will go back again unless I feel up to wearing my noise canceling headphones all evening…I wish it wasn’t so damn loud it hurts your ears. I wish the owner cared more. It’s too bad because the Big Bad Wolf has so much potential to make everyone happy. Too bad the owner...

Super disappointed, there was a super popular band, so obviously they are super busy, and sure I am reasonable and expect some delays. 2/3 of the tables were “reserved” so seating was non existent- found a spot at the bar by pure luck, took over 15 min to be acknowledged by the bar tender. Ordered drinks and food - 45 minutes later I still don’t have my food, had to ask 2x for a refill on my drink. When I asked about my food it was clear she never put in the order. It took over 30 additional minutes for a Cesar salad, that at that point I gave up to leave.. She clearly is handling her regulars like a champ, including leaving the bar to wait on a reserved table of at least 8. I’ve never gotten such horrible service… if it weren’t for the fact I paid a $10 pets person cover charge for a band I wanted to see I’d walk out. Oh wait I did! And the first time in my life I left...
