Went in to talk to Robo about piercing my girlfriend's nose pierced. I had planned to go elsewhere but after receiving so many recommendations from friends and reading the reviews, I changed my mind and decided to try Fastlane and I am so happy I did. We were greeted right away and everyone was happy to help and made my girl feel so much more relaxed because she was nervous about what she was about to do. I really appreciated that and she did as well. Robo came up to us and introduced himself. Very polite, friendly and inviting. He is set up in a separate room which I really liked. It assured me that the area he was piercing in was clean and sanitary. He took the time needed to show us all the options available and wasn't pushy whatsoever. He seemed like he genuinely cares about his customers experience and wanted us to have the best experience possible. After seeing all the different jewelery available, we were a little overwhelmed and had trouble deciding which jewelery we would go with so we asked him what he recommended and we are glad we did. He explained that since it was a new piercing, a much simpler piece would be easier to keep clean and give us the best results after it healed. He was right and it did save me some money too. Can't complain about saving money. She got the piercing and was surprised that he was already finished. She said she didn't even feel it and scheduled another session to have her ears pierced again. I've read pretty much every review and I have no clue what some of the negative reviews were talking about. Completely fabricated in my opinion and probably someone who was trying to ruin a great piercer's reputation. One review stated that they had their piercing checked by a professional. That's funny. What makes that person a professional? Did they get a degree in piercing from the UofA? So fake and if they are implying that Robo isn't a professional, they have no business getting a piercing whatsoever. Robo is the definition of professional and I am giving 5 stars because he earned every one. He should get 100 stars in my opinion. We will be back for more piercings and probably tattoos and I can say without a doubt that they will be from Fastlane. I'll recommend them to everyone I know and you should take my word and don't waste your time anywhere else. Thanks Fastlane and thank you Robo. On February 12th I walked in to Fast Lane tattoo. Spoke to the guy that goes by booboo. I asked about setting an appointment with him, he was very condescending and rude when we first interacted. I brushed it off due to him being in a hurry to sit his client. I continued to ask about when he would be available, he clearly said I’m booked till March. So we decided on March 19th, 2021 at 1 pm. He said I would have to leave a $50 deposit and stated they didn’t take cards, he pointed to the ATM machine in the building. I got $60 out of the ATM, asked if he had change he said no and kept the $60 saying it would go toward the total of the tattoo. The only way I wouldn’t get it back is if I didn’t show up. He concluded by asking for my number and confirmed the date March 19th at 1pm, I saved it on my phone just to be sure. I also asked if I needed to sign anything, he said no. I was naive, the guy called me today saying my appointment was today. When clearly he had confirmed for March 19th he said he was booked till March. He won’t be refunding me the money, he had the same condensing and rude tone of voice. I honestly recall March 19th why would I want to loose my hard earned money. This is unacceptable, such lack of professionalism. He even had the audacity to tell me that if I wanted to book again I would have to set another deposit fee. With this kind of service I prefer to go somewhere else. I will not be recommending this...

I got all of my tattoos here and two of them seemed really rushed and a few of the lines are uneven I hope they do free touch ups! Also I got my belly button pierced a long time ago and I told the guy I wanted it repierced exactly where it was last time because I like the way it was centered (got it pierced somewhere else before coming here) and the guy put the top hole where my bottom hole use to be and you couldn't even see the bottom ball of the piercing because it went into my belly button because I have a deep innie belly button and the top hole you could barley see either and within two days it nearly started hanging on by a thread because he didn't get enough skin. And my cartilage piercing is off centered too. And every time I go in this guy isn't even there he's always "out to lunch" or on his phone. I will not be going here for piercings anymore and I really hope they touch up tattoos for free even if it's a different pperson doing it because every time I come in the guy who did my tattoos isn't there and I don't think he works there anymore. So if I can get a few lines touched up for free then I'll keep going in for tattoos but not if they are gonna rush! It should be free for touch ups when they didn't...
