I have to say, the family feeling and dynamic this store used to have has seemingly vanished from memory based upon recent endeavors. Unfortunately, a business is only as solid as the people in which operate the store.
In the past I remember their staff always being VERY friendly and outgoing with a willingness to go above and beyond.
Almost to the point that their staff seemed to get taken advantage of in some instances, and I was always overly nice because felt bad about how people seemed to demand more due to their quality of service.
Unfortunately, When I took my Uncle and Aunt to the store to acquire some grocery items the security staff had kicked both of them out threatening to call the police.
MY Uncle & Aunt I later found outside in the heat after receiving no help or indication from the front register employees they had been removed, as though they somehow missed this ordeal shrugs
Apparently My Uncle Donny was making a return of a Playstation controller. Even under the uttermost extremes, say my Uncle wasn't a solid person, and was even returning a totally different controller, which definitely wasn't the case, the mans word is gold to me, their actions were atrocious.
When I was employed with Target it was absolutely NEVER in the policy to contest or argue about such an exchange when a receipt was presented with the product purchased. but simply make the exchange and send the customer on their way.
Instead a Asian security employee apparently took over the management of their customer relations desk, and made the decision that without explanation my Uncle and Aunt should be removed from the store and not even returned their item in which they wanted an exchange.
I most certainly will be following up with their corporate office this is simply unacceptable. I feel as though My Uncle was discriminated against because of his disability, which makes literally no sense to me at all :/ Very disappointed and shocked...
Read moreThis store is in massive violation of health codes. They do not check their food inventory. I have found on over 27 different occasions in the last 5 years foods that are expired by anywhere from a month to a year (the worst had expired two years before) including:
tortillas breads soups drinks cheese
If you have ever found that food quickly went bad after you bought it from this Target, you might want to start checking the expiration date before you buy. If anyone went through all their food items on any given day I am certain they would find multiple expired products. One day I looked through all tortillas of a certain brand at this Target and they were all expired by either one or two months (one bag of tortillas this Target was selling was so expired that it was yellow).
When questioned, the management of this Target blames it on the vendors. This Target regularly has at least 6 employees working in the food area. How hard is it to have those employees check whether or not the food has an expiration date that is legal to sell? It is not the vendor's fault when expired items are kept on shelves by employees and management and allowed to be sold to unsuspecting families.
If anyone has wound up sick because of eating expired food from this Target please contact...
Read moreI went to buy a swiffer that was labeled as $11.99 and I checked on the price check as well and it was $11.99. When I got to the checkout, the cashier said it was $14.99, and despite telling them that it was labeled as $11.99, they refused to believe me or even go and check the price. Usually when a cashier is unsure they will go find the product in the store and look at the price but they didn’t even bother doing that and said they will only give the swiffer to us for $14.99. In retail if a customer says a price is wrong, you have to go and check the price and give them proof of the price. Customer satisfaction is key for a successful business and I guess they’ve never heard of that. I had the money to buy it, but I didn’t just cause they didn’t even bother looking at the actual price and acted as if I was lying. Customer service is awful here. I go to El Con and they are so respectful and treat customers well. If you literally google “swiffer stick target” it’s $11.99 in store so idek what they were tryna pull on me. I even added a picture in the photos....
