If you believe in the eye test you will realize that Crave is one of the most popular local coffee bars in the central Tucson area. Upon entering you will notice people of all ages, either sitting alone with their electronics or hanging out with friends. Many frequent this spot because the atmosphere is exactly what a coffee shop enthusiast seeks. I have utilized Crave in a number of ways: a weekly meeting place with my buddy; hanging out with my daughter and her step-sister for "fancy coffee drink" dates; work meetings with my former boss; and a study hall for my algebra class from the local community college. I don't prefer the fancy coffee drinks, but I hear they are excellent here. When I order coffee I get plain drip, no room. Their plain drip is exceptional! They also have excellent pastries that are made daily and a small sandwich menu (sandwiches are served with shelled peanuts and grapes) if you need a meal. The sandwiches are good too! I fully apologize for my previous review. We discussed my previous order, he made me another one that was soothing to the palate. A nice crisp and pleasing taste. The taste and the aroma of chocolate and other spices, natural vanilla notes and caramel flavors without any extra additional flavors. I find that it also has a pleasant hint of smoke.
I must point out that there’s no bitterness to the coffee. That’s one thing that for me ruins the experience. There’s nothing worse then tasting bitter coffee.
A very positive and lively place indeed.

A true adherence to the ancient roots (Arabic?) of coffee and it’s almost spiritual properties keeps us coming back whenever we visit Tucson from the Pacific Northwest where we have a great coffee culture, but the fast-pace and capitalism-focused latte-sippers don’t sit and savor long enough for a proper coffeehouse experience.
Crave has carved out a unique quality experience and environment with its handcrafted furnishings and North passive lighting.
A diverse and solid crowd on weekends and a diverse set of regulars weekdays make each event rich.
