I found this Lil "hole in the wall" gem on google and decided to give it a try. I was immediately greeted by a very happy, friendly man who welcomed me with open arms. I was the only in house diner at the time because they were closing soon and I didnt know, but that didn't matter to them! Their menu was perfectly sized with all the greats! They even have a $1 street taco special with 6 different kinds of meat!! Fresh salsa/pico, fixins bar. I ordered their Quesabirria Plate, it comes with 3, beef consumme for dipping rice and beans for $12.99!! The beef was so very tender, and he explained the hours of time put in to cook the beef. Delicious!! I added pickled onions to mine and it was so good! I also ordered the Homemade Horchata. Loved it, could use more cinnamon in mine but it tasted wonderful as is. I ordered the Flan to go and took it to my hotel to enjoy later that night. I later found out through friendly conversation this gentleman, Viktor, was the owner and his wife was in the kitchen cooking. They had opened 5 months ago, as part of their dream to have a restaurant. I loved their story and I love mom and pop restaurants! We spoke about how I was a Chef in Denver and just visiting, we bonded over the restaurant industry and start up. Was a very pleasant converstion and I'll recommend them to anyone I see. In fact, I let the whole hotel staff front desk I was staying at know to go try this place!! From one chef to another, I appreciate the hard work, time and love that was put into their food and establishment! They just got their liquor license and their prices are SO CHEAP for what they serve you!!! GO QUICK before our economy forces them to raise the prices, you're getting a heck of a deal! Thank you for the wonderful food, and having such a welcoming place to eat.

Well where do I begin? Sat down at the table when we first got there and my elbows stuck to the table. Seems they don't really clean the table top or anything else in the establishment. Went there for lunch. Was probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had after eating in Tucson for over 60 years. I don't really want to get into how bad the food was. My wife and I were so disappointed she wanted to walk out after her first bite of a taco which had a piece of gristle in it. It all went downhill from there.

Great service, with epic food with decent portions and a great price. The mole was delicious, along with the rellenos. If you can, ask for the marinated Serranos, it's a sweet, spicy, and deep savory treat (flavor bomb). We will come back next time when we come from Phoenix.

Went in for the first time on TACO TUESDAY where EVERY taco with your chose of meat is only $2. When I tell you this food is BEYOND DELICIOUS that is an understatement. The meat was SO JUICY and seasoned to PERFECTION. Everything was PERFECT from the professional friendly Customer Service to the clean friendly environment to the delicious food. I intended to take my meal home but I ate it in the car it was so good. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The patio area is nice and shaded great for a nice evening date night. Amazing authentic food made with love that you can TASTE in every bite. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed and made to feel at home. The birria meat was seasoned to PERFECTION and the Carne estada is so tender and juicy. No comparison anywhere else.... Hands down my NEW FAVORITE taco restaurant and it will be yours too just try it. You won't regret...

I really liked my experience here. I'm leaving a review after coming back a second time. The owner is really friendly and they had really good service. The food was really satisfying. I feel like the chips they have are some of the best chips for Mexican restaurants in Tucson. I have had the tacos twice and I feel very satisfied and the prices are very affordable. The fish tacos are very tasty and the chicken tacos are very good as well. I really enjoyed the salsa bar. They have a lot of different options and it's good quality. I feel like it's hard to find good Mexican restaurants in Tucson which is kind of a surprise I feel like this is one of my favorite restaurants now. So far I haven't been disappointed, and I just feel like they have great customer...
