Raspados el Paraíso — Restaurant in Tucson

06.27.22 update We went about one to two months ago . Ordered the fruit bowl with watermelon melon pineapple mango coconut and jicama etc. I mentioned to the person at drive thru the last visit our order was incorrect etc ( months back) just wanting to make sure they took out the items we are allergic to or put less of items we dont care for ( which we specified). We asked for less jicama- we were given tons, watermelon seemed over ripe ( actually tasted bad) the only good fruit was the limited pineapple pieces. The little bowel about the size a cereal bowl was maybe $8.00. This place also has a place to include a tip for regular non sit down service on receipt ( I really dislike this). Needless to say now they've established their facility their quality is not good and their prices are atrocious. We threw this $8.00 stuff away ( sad as many people don't have food), yet fruit is delicate and people with stomach issues can get sick with weird tasting and selling watermelon and other bad fruit. We went a week later to Costco and bought a Large tray of great cut fresh fruit for $9.00. We ate what we could and froze the rest for future smoothies. Times are hard and you don't sell people old bad fruit when charging alot. And please stop asking for tips @ non sit down establishments. Sad, as we had previously given this place a...

June 26th evening I came here with my Family only to get bad customer service. When we arrived there was a line to the door. It took us a good 25 mins before we could order and another 30 mins to get our order. Well we were waiting the lady had made my raspado for the couple that were to couples ahead of us. They couple had told her that's not what they order and put it back on the counter and it sat there for a while so I went up to her to ask her if that was mine she said no and asked me my name i gave my name and she said I'm working on it now. Well i had a feeling she was going to still give me that raspado that was already melted and i was right by the time she made the rest of my order she handed me that melted raspado so i told her i didn't want it and she acted like she didn't hear me but I had told her in Spanish so I know she understood me. She obviously didn't care what i was telling her so i didn't want to make a big issue about it because there was still alot of people waiting for there orders. It was clear to see that the two ladies working that night couldn't handle that many people and surely didnt care if they were serving melted ice cream on raspados. Very disappointed and I will never come back over here again I will in the morning to...

We miss raspados from Mexico… so—We came here a LOT! Most of the time it’s great… and we never mind the wait. It’s not the poor employees fault, it’s the owners ….for not staffing correctly during rush times. At least 3 times so far… “and we never complained”…..we get just a fruit raspado, and wind up with mostly ice and juice. We have to SEARCH for the fruit. The last time, we did say something and the employee couldn’t have cared less. We didn’t go back for quite awhile.

Today, I took another chance and I stopped off and I bought a peach raspado! For almost $5.00… I AT LEAST expect more than 11 tiny tiny pieces of peach. That’s all that was on top… my friend and I dumped the cup into a big bowl and NOPE——-NOT ONE OTHER PIECE OF FRUIT! 😞. Nothing on the bottom ….or the middle. Just OVERLY thick syrup and ice! 😡 5$ is pretty steep for a cup of crushed ice and simple syrup. I have actually never gotten one that “looked” like the pictures on your site, overflowing with beautiful fruit.

So—-I had a better idea….. I just ordered my own crushed ice machine from Amazon. I always have lots of fruit at home and simple syrup is easy to make…. I will make them for my friends/kids and myself...
