Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Tucson

The three stars is for the customer service. No complaints there at all. However I just recently moved over on this side and when comparing the quality of my pizza subs I would get at the one on 150 N Pantano it’s pretty sad & not at all the same quality. I always order the same Pizza deluxe with extra cheese, ham, bacon & extra mushrooms. Whenever I would order this from my old location it was always perfect & stuffed with cheese how I like it & plenty of mushrooms how I ordered. Tonight however when I got home to enjoy it I noticed my extra cheese was normal as well as the mushrooms. When I ordered from my old location it was always correct & stuffed. I used to do the 3X cheese but quickly learned that was too much. This one was not at all like what I usually get!? I’m very disappointed cause I love hungry Howies but when you don’t get what you paid for that’s extremely dissatisfying & upsetting. I would have called but I had to work so I didn’t have time & probably won’t go back. I’ve never been disappointed with Hungry Howies but today my order was less than appealing or as it should have been or usually is. It did seem as though the employee was working completely alone so that could be why it wasn’t right. More then likely she was rushing due to being alone. She was great but the way my Deluxe pizza sub was made it was not. I also find it ridiculous they don’t deliver to my area when I’m only 3.1 miles away & a ten min drive?? Either way I’ll probably find somewhere else to get my pizza sub/calzone from rather than risk another...

I really enjoy Hungry Howie's pizza. I used to live near the Pantano / Broadway location. Now I order from the Campbell / Ft. Lowell location. The location on Campbell is AWESOME! This pizza is hands down better than Little Caesars! H.H.'s gives Black Jack and Pizza Hut a run for the money. I find this pizza BETTER than Domino's and all those other pizza establishments. Obviously there are more EXPENSIVE pizza's that might leave H.H.'s in the dust. Hungry Howie's - Price - Fair. Quality - Great. Taste - Delicious! In person customer service - Great. (When you call it is a call center, not the actual employees at the establishment). Any and every interaction has been great. Call center, ehh.This pizza is ALWAYS YUMMY! I have never had any issues with my orders :) Perfect and delicious each and every time. Besides if I ever have issues I always communicate them and give whatever business it happens to be, the opportunity to correct them. This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a food company before. When I went to pick up my order, the lady who dealt with us was not wearing a mask so we did not feel comfortable eating the pizza. We were told to throw the pizza away and that a manager will call us to work out a refund. I did not receive a call. After 2 weeks I called again and was told that because we took the pizza outside the store, we can’t have a refund. This is unacceptable store etiquette especially during a pandemic. It’s ridiculous that this stores unsafe hygiene cost me and they refuse to give me a refund.

Update: The store owner called and kindly offered me a refund. I was told that it would take a few days for the refund to show up in my account and that I would be reached out to once the refund was initiated. It has now been 3 months and I was not given a refund nor have I been...
