I just wanted a quick burger on the way downtown today. I was expecting friendly service, but they really missed the mark. One is clearly expected to have the menu memorized and to understand exactly what they want when they pull up to order.

Given that I do not eat a lot of fast food and rarely at this brand, it took me a moment to read the menu but apparently, that was unacceptable - and there was NO ONE behind me. She demanded to know my name - for what purpose?

I asked for a cheeseburger and asked for no mustard and no tomato. I would have brought it back for a refund if I had not been running late or if I had been allowed to check the order before I pulled away. No tomato but mustard everywhere in the way that a toddler would put extra mustard on just to be mean when someone said they did not like it - just gross and inedible.

I did not want or ask for fries or a drink, but I was not given a choice - the soda was spilled all over the outside of the cup and the fries were disgusting. Almost $12 on food that I ended up throwing out.

Styrofoam? Really?

Apparently, I am a security risk as the window was locked when I pulled up to pay and I had to sit there waiting for someone to decide to notice me, again it was not busy. She just about threw my food at me and glared when I started to open the bag to check the order.

She took my receipt and threw it out in front of me, saying, oh you don't want this - I guess that she did not want me to fill out the survey specific to my order.

Last summer I stopped at a location in another state and the service was so much better - I explained that I had never eaten there before and that person was happy to help me get what I wanted to eat and did not glare at me but was kind to...

A West Coast Classic That Lives Up to the Hype

If you’re searching for the best fast food burger experience in the U.S., In-N-Out Burger consistently delivers a mouthwatering combination of flavor, freshness, and quality that’s hard to beat. Known as a California burger chain icon, this fast-food favorite has earned its reputation with good reason.

From the moment you take your first bite, it’s clear that In-N-Out uses only fresh, never frozen ingredients. The beef patties are juicy and perfectly seasoned, grilled to order, and paired with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and their signature spread that adds a tangy kick of flavor. The toasted buns are soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting soggy.

The Animal Style burger from their not-so-secret menu is a must-try — it’s loaded with grilled onions, extra spread, and a savory sear that takes the flavor to the next level. Pair it with their famous hand-cut French fries (also available Animal Style!) and a creamy, old-fashioned chocolate shake, and you’ve got a classic combo that hits every craving.

What truly sets In-N-Out apart is their commitment to quality and consistency. Despite their simplicity, every meal tastes incredibly fresh, and the service is always fast, friendly, and efficient.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, In-N-Out Burger is consistently satisfying, affordable, and always worth the stop. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended for anyone who loves a classic American...

Cool place to sit and eat. I had the single cheeseburger meal. Everyone is super friendly and they wear old school hopper hats. You go up and order, they give you your drink cups (self serve coke products) right away. Their specialty sauce is good you can get packets of it by requesting them. Self service for the ketchup pumpit in those little white cuppys. Admit that it’s fun and you got too many it’s okay. Mostly booth sitting and the lights are brite white so bring a hat if you are a creature of darkness like me. The food is so yummy it has this crunch to it fries are still good later cold or reheat them . I forgot to order a milkshake this time but I’m remembering they were yummy as well. I do not eat out a lot so I appreciate good food for my money. This place doesn’t take forever to make the food and when it’s done they announce your number it’s on the top of your receipt so don’t toss it in your purse and have to dig about forever while the announcement is repeated and you go up to get it and the announcement person is like whoa we thought we had a lost guest we almost called the in and out search party. You are welcome. Self serve clear your own table although a team member is in the dining area usually and stops by to check in on you and will take your tray if you wanted. Don’t forget to refill your coke on the way out. The ice is those hollow circles that (in my opinion) are just super rad I don’t know why maybe you do? I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture, but here are some bun crumbs sprinkled...

In-N-Out: Harry Snyder established this popular regional burger chain in 1948. Its locations are currently restricted to Arizona, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, and its home base in California. Since I’m a Wisconsin Doughboy I have not had the opportunity to try In-N-Out until my vacation to Arizona. The menu is fairly simple with a hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, fries, drink, and three shake options for dessert. I opted for the famed Double-Double, which is essentially a double cheeseburger. It comes with two beef patties, two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and the restaurants trademark spread. The burger comes wrapped neatly to allow for easier eating on the go and less mess. I found the burgers to be flavorful, the cheese melty and plentiful, the veggies crisp and fresh, and the spread to provide just enough wetness to prevent the sandwich from being too dry. The bun was lightly toasted, soft, and fresh. My burger only cost approximately $5, while a comparable sandwich at competitor Five Guys will run you about $10. I can’t say it was a revolutionary burger, but it was tasty enough that I wish In-N-Out could be found in Wisconsin, but I can settle with Culver’s. In-N-Out’s Double-Double is Doughboy approved.
