I visited for the first time today and loved that they have a cute little something extra for first timers. I have celiac disease and the guy taking my order walked me through each item that I could eat, the kitchen staff repeated back order and they all seemed knowledgeable and so helpful. The food was AMAZING!! I got a half ugly and half bulgogi beef with the gf noodles and it also had rice and veggies in it. The sauce level was a 7.5 and the perfect heat for me. I've had no reaction from potential cross contamination which means I'll definitely be back to try another bowl of something delicious. *This review does not guarantee anyone else with celiac or a gluten allergy will be served food safe for them or free from cross-contamination. Eating out comes with risks. This is just my own experience.

When you first walk in they greet you and since we were first-timers they give you a free pot-sticker, so that’s nice! The girl that made the bowls was really nice and helpful in explaining things! The bowls were decently portioned, I got a a combo bowl with the beef and the rock bop, as well as a bowl with just the rock bop(Spicy level 7.5 and 8, in my opinion 7.5 is perfect, good heat but not overwhelming). The bowls themselves were very good! Everything tasted fresh and overall I definitely enjoyed it🙂‍↕️. The only reason for the 4 stars is the bowls are pretty expensive, the two I got came out to 26$, luckily I had a coupon due to being a University student and that brought it down to 19$. Pretty expensive but definitely worth a try!!!

This place offers good Korean bowls in a decent price which is rare in Tucson.. I like their food.. I ordered 2 cupbops to go and sadly they made an unpleasant mistake.. I told them to give my sauces on the side because it makes the food soggy so fast and the weather was so hot, I didn't want my food to get spoiled.. the server was a bit clumsy.. he was making 5/6 cupbops at the same time and kept all orders together so it was obvious he would mishandle them.. after coming back home, I realized that he forgot to give any sauces on the top or on the side.. if you ever had cupbop before, you would know that the sauces are the star of the show.. it was unappealing to have such a dry cupbop.. Anyway definitely worth a visit..

The food is top notch and I have been going here for a few months. I would have given this place five stars but I have ran into a scenario today. They are losing customer loyalty. Now this scenario is simple, if you have came here in the past, you might have gotten a punch card. Well they do not honor those cards anymore to direct their customers to their app. My issue is that they should honor those punch cards because the only disclaimer on them is that they are valid at Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, and Texas. There is no expiration on the card itself. So if this company picks and chooses to honor what programs, then what would they do next. We have seen many companies not stay true to their customers with great products and disappear. Oh well I suppose.

Another gripe is that the portions got incredibly smaller. While the bowl sizes have not change and price has a slight increase. The amount of food went down. I felt like I just ordered a large drink with majority of ice and we all know that feeling.

Well I originally feel in love with this place because reminded me of the food truck in Osan. I don’t think I will return, plenty of good food in this city. Advice I have is the middle to upper managers take a look of your vision and mission to make sure that you reach the organizational goals that you...

Do not place your order online. I ordered online and arrived at the restaurant 30 min. after the order was placed. My meal was still not ready. I witnessed a walk-in customer, who arrived after me, place her order at the counter and get out the door before I received my food. The staff was friendly though -- the only reason this is a 2-star review instead of a 1-star review.

This was my first time eating at Cupbop. Given its wild popularity, I expected great things. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the food. Just lacks that punch of flavor you expect. I chose not to finish my food. Mixing rice and noodles together is quite off-putting to me. I believe if you order at the counter, you can specify no rice or noodles. However, I did not see that option when ordering online. I have no plans...
