First Watch — Restaurant in Tucson

Dear First Watch Team,

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible service and care I received during my recent visit. From the moment I walked through the door to the time I was seated, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for.

This location is spot on they are sweet they dnt ask you every 4 seconds do you need something they let you eat and there you go they are sweet and very kind to children as well During my visit, I experienced a sudden drop in my blood sugar due to my low glycemia. I mentioned this to the manager, explaining that I was feeling lightheaded and needed food as I was unable to drink orange juice. In no time, I was kindly served a meal and my drink, and I felt so much better after eating. Your attentiveness made all the difference.

The food, as always, was phenomenal. The recipe never fails to exceed expectations, and I’m consistently impressed with the quality and flavor at both this location and the one on Grant. My children also love the food and always finish their meals, which is a rare treat!

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank your entire team for the love and care you show from the moment guests walk through the door. Your hospitality and the consistently outstanding food make First Watch a place I will always cherish.

We're First Watchers from long ago, and have visited them all over the country. This location is a standout! Fantastic service from start to finish. We got in line on the app, were seated within the timeframe provided, at a nice private table, and our server promptly arrived. He made sure to check our orders to get it right, and if we made a 2nd request for something left behind, no problem (hey, I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached so no judgment!). I always ask for various modifications to the omelet I order, and it was perfect- I've had this same order done incorrectly at 90% of other locations. My mods caused a lack of cheese on my companion's omelet, though, but no problem- they brought him some ASAP when he asked, and even took a bit off the bill although it hadn't bothered us and we'd made no request for such. Now that is outstanding service! Food was delish, too, with good portions (yes we've had some smaller portions at others). Overall, if you like First Watch- visit this location for the best of what the chain has to offer. And of course we gobbled everything up before remembering to take pics-...

My issue is not with the food, which is fine (the same as any other First Watch locations). My issue is that this location has an issue with the waitlist. We signed up and were advised it was a 25-35 minute wait. We arrived within 20 minutes and were told it was going to be a 25-30 minute wait. I asked how that could be and was told that their system had an IT issue and could only take into account online waitlist customers, not the people just walking in. This is the second time this happened to us at this location- the last time we waited almost 40 minutes despite being on the waitlist. Today they told us this still has not been fixed. We decided to go elsewhere, as we were told that we were still only 9th on the list. Ridiculous. They should remove the waitlist option for this location until they get it fixed so their customers have realistic expectations about the wait. We do not plan to come back to this location...
