From the moment we walked into Indian Twist, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance perfectly balances warmth and modernity, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. But the real magic happened with the food!

We originally found this restaurant on the last leg of our driving trip with our son in May. After 2 weeks of southern food, we wanted something different for dinner, and we love Indian food. Wow, were we impressed! We ordered Baingan Bharta, a delicious smoked eggplant with tomatoes, onions, and spices, Lamb Korma in a rich flavorful sauce, and Roti. Both entrees came with rice, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and delicious. My husband and son also ordered Mango Lassi. Unfortunately, we were all too full for dessert. This was definitely a meal to remember!

My husband and I just came back from a shorter driving trip to Texas, and I purposely had us stay our last night near the Tucson airport again, just so we could eat dinner at Indian Twist. We ended up ordering the same entrees along with the Roti. The food was just as delicious as we remembered! This time, we saved room for dessert and shared an order of the Mango Pudding which was smooth and creamy with bits of mango and very refreshing. We knew it would be a lot of food for just the two of us so my husband figured out a way we could bring the leftover eggplant and rice home with us to San Diego, and we enjoyed them for dinner the next night.

Waste of time. I think that I am an incredibly patient person, especially when it comes to dining out. I understand that good food takes time and places are very understaffed since Covid. But there is no excuse for what happened here. My husband and I were seated and our order was taken promptly. I ordered sparkling water but received very flat sparkling water. I was okay with that. I still drank it and I never even mentioned it to the server. We waited over and hour and still did not receive our food nor did our server come to check on us. I asked our server after about 45 minutes if our food would be coming out soon as I had seen two other couples who arrived and ordered at least 20 minutes after us receive their food. He said our food would be out next. It did NOT come out next. In fact, the table behind us got their food and they had only been sitting there for 15 minutes. At this point I had lost all patience. My husband and I got up to leave and the server came over and said our food would be coming out. I told him to forget it. I left him $3 for the flat sparkling water. He tried to tell me that everything was okay and I told him "no, it's not okay."
