Hello, my Family were first time customers on Thursday night Feb 8- at 2570 Valencia At 7:30 pm order #12630. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my 44 years of life; and here is why… as soon as we entered the establishment, someone was taking all of the salsas away and setting them on the counter to be put away (yes, closing is 8pm). Some of the salads were almost gone and were not fresh since they were out all day. The people behind us in line were turned away because there was no more chicken. We must have gotten the very last of it , telling me it wasn’t fresh. Not the best first impression. The chicken was warm, but not for long, cold by the time I finished a leg (thigh next). Macaroni salad was very bland. Refried beans were just ok. Good flour tortillas though. We felt rushed through our meal the moment we walked in the door. We were told/rushed at 7:55 that they were closing at 8 and we had 10 mins. The door had already been locked before 8pm, we saw someone lock it and had to have it unlocked for us at 7:58 when we tried to open the door to leave. We left our tray of uneaten sub par food on the table and the girl said we “needed to….land I stopped her and said “no we do not , you rushed is out of here so we are leaving” She told me I did not need to be rude… but told her what is RUDE is… being rushed through a meal we PAID for and it wasn’t even 8pm and are being told we have 10 mins to finish. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and rushing someone through a meal is a big no no, And you don’t turn customers away 20 minutes before closing. Can you imagine how many customers they turn away and how much money is lost ??? I will never come back and will tell everyone I know about this terrible dining experience. If your employees only concern is clocking out at 8pm then change your policy to “to go orders only after 7:30 pm.” The girl picked our tray up , DIRTY TRAY, wiped it down with a dry paper towel and set it on the clean tray pile as I watched her when I got in my car to leave. As i started eating my salad i notice hairs on the salad, I called them to explain the issue person who answer the phone interrupted and started talking to another person, was told to take the salads back and i would get another salad. I explain i dont want nothing replace i want a refund. Really rude They stated they cannot refund me if i want i can get the salads replaced. I take the salads back and the cashier goes by “show me” i showed her pictures and the salads. She tells me the manager is the only one that can refund me the money to call the next day. I call today ask to speak to the manager to my surprise the manager(paty) was worst than the girls the day before, know I understand why the whole team is rude and unprofessional being run by this type of manager.Since the moment she answer the phone she was super argumentative, rude and unprofessional starting by “Okay tell me! What I ordered: a chicken combo and two orders of crispy chicken tacos no onions .
What I got: 2 chicken combos and 1 order of chicken tacos LOTS of onion. Missing salsa and missing tortillas.
When trying to call them to ask If I can drive back to get the right order they hung up on me . I tried calling back multiple times and they would answer the line and hang back up.
Didn’t want to drive way out there for more problems or spit in my food so I just left it as is and decided to write this review. I normally don’t write reviews but this isn’t the first time this has happened.
