This place is a total sleeper. I was visiting my godmother, who was staying at the hotel. On my way out, I got the "Sol Burger" and was amazed at how good it was. It's genuinely one of the best burgers I have ever had. That was 3 months ago. Today we were by the airport and I remembered how good the burger was and wanted to see if lighting could really strike twice. We dined in this time and were greeted by a really tall man who took us to a booth. His service was truly exemplary. I was with my mom, whose hand was in a cast, and our server offered to the straw packaging because it would be hard for her to do. As for the food, we split the classic burger this time. It was just cooked to perfection. Juicy and well seasoned with fresh vegetables toppings. The fries are also great. We also got mozzarella sticks from the happy hour menu. I wasn't expecting much, but they were more like deep-fried artisan blocks of high-quality mozzarella. Overall, our experience was a 10/10. Great food, great service! I wish it was closer to us, but I would totally go out of my way to have their burgers and mozzarella blocks again.
Thank you so much to the waiter! I didn't catch his name, but he is the really tall one. You...
Read moreA friend and I were visiting from out of town and decided to give it a try due to all 5 star reviews. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but for us the experience was underwhelming. There were maybe three groups in there, so not busy. My friend got soup and I got a burger - pretty basic. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food. Our waiter was friendly enough, but slow to refill drinks and never gave us an update on our food. After the food arrived he did come and ask if it was ok. My burger was ordered medium to medium well done and it was very dry and definitely more like well done +. My friend’s soup she said tasted ok. Biggest complaint was the very slow time to get our meal when they were not busy at all, but nothing about the experience...
Read moreSpacious, airy place in the Four Seasons hotel near Tucson airport. Seemed to be down time as the heat outside was climbing. Pretty empty and quiet which was what we were looking for. The hostess was also the server, and she did a good job. The food was pretty much standard Southwestern fare. For our lunch, I had a quesadilla, my wife had a sandwich, and our friend had a SOL burger that was stacked high enough that you needed a dislocatable jaw to take a real bite. Everything was tasty and well prepared with a nice...
