This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I walked in with my clearly tagged service dog and was immediately met with judgmental, unfriendly stares. We knew what we wanted to order right away, but instead of that being appreciated, we were ignored. When we finished ordering, the woman behind the counter looked at us like we were stupid and made us repeat everything. No greeting, no thank you, no acknowledgment—just a rude, dismissive attitude.
When the food was finally ready, no one said a word. She didn’t call out our order or let us know it was done—we had to ask another customer if the food sitting there was ours. The whole experience was uncomfortable. We were looked at like we didn’t belong, and the vibe was cold and unwelcoming. I had to step outside because it felt so hostile inside.
And the food? Mediocre at best. It tasted like something you could throw together at home in 10 minutes. The curry had no depth, no richness—just bland, flat flavor. And they had the nerve to serve it with a store-bought tortilla. Nothing authentic, nothing handmade. To top it all off, I watched the woman in the kitchen handle the food without gloves. Absolutely disgusting.

Read moreThe woman taking our order was very uninterested in helping us, and wasn't really actively listening to us when we were placing our order. She sounded quite annoyed and a bit rude when going through our order with us. In the end, she still got it wrong. We ordered two different entrees medium spicy, but got two of the same entree with absolutely no spice at all. Also, if I had not asked about the mango lassi she would have let us walk out without that, too (and seemed annoyed when I asked about it).
As for the food, the only thing that was actually pleasant was the naan bread--aside from that, the curry was very watery/runny and flavorless. Unfortunately, it reminded me of how my meals tasted when I had covid, and was not at all worth the price we paid. I can only report on the curry paneer, as they messed up the order and didn't include the other entree.
I will stick with Zika Twist on 4th, Kababeque was very disappointing. I wish I could get a refund.
TLDR: horrible customer service w/ bland and overpriced food. Go to Zika...
Read moreHere are 5 things I did not like about my experience. They got the order wrong. I ordered a paneer double roll. I got a small meat roll. I didn't want to waste food and had to make it to a concert so I didn't go back to tell them I got the wrong thing. That's my bad. I did not like how the price they charged us was way different from menus online and in the store. The q-roll was $13 (way more than what I thought I would be paying) and I got the wrong thing. We sat outside. Previously, they brought the food out to us. This time, no one brought it out, which is okay. The lady at the counter just waved at us while she was on the phone. The cashier also didn't tell us ahead of time that the Mango lassi was self serve. I would have gotten it earlier so I could drink it while waiting for my food. The food was way too salty. My companion got the shahi kofta and he said it was bland. I won't be going back anytime soon. We tipped 20% on counter service but wish we could have tipped after we...
