I am super excited that there is now an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi spot in Tucson! You can also order à la carte, but why not try the AYCE experience? The fish is super fresh, and sashimi for an AYCE? WOW. I love the nigiri and sashimi! The owner recommended the scallop, and boy was he was right. That was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the scallop sashimi! The cuts of sashimi were big and super fresh. I am so happy with this place. The only downside I see is the rice was a bit hard for the sushi, but the rice-to-fish ratio was spot on. I also tried the hibachi and thought it was absolutely delicious. The wait for two was about an hour for dinner time and they are newly open, so the wait time makes sense. Definitely budget time for waiting! Worth it around the $31.99 price point! I am beyond excited. Can’t you tell by my review?

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. Last night, I experienced something new, an extra-ordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core, I will be returning to Kintaro sushi soon, hungry for more. I had to roll out of the restaurant, no pun intended 🤣 Blu

Loved this place. The all you can eat sushi and hibachi was really really good. The service was fast and friendly. This is way better than any other all you can eat sushi in Tucson.

I was told it’s about a “30 minute wait” when putting my name down to eat. After waiting about 40 minutes, I asked how much longer until we could be seated, the reply was “20 minutes”.

I watched two people’s number get called and they had to wait at the host booth for 10 minutes. They were ignored by all the other staff, while the host went to the back of the sushi bar and ran around.

This place looks cleanly, but it seems really poorly run. They string you along with false wait times in the hopes of keeping your business.

After being seated, we marked down our order. which was comprised of an assortment of rolls. The food came out and was incorrect. Instead of getting the variety of rolls that I ordered, I received three of the same roll.

The only thing that saved this place for me was the direct service from our waiter, Christopher. Top notch service and attentiveness from him to our table.

If you want to wait for an hour for sushi, I guess it’s worth it. Recommend trying another AYCE sushi place...

Beware, there is a server suffering from little man syndrome. When I asked him for something (plz and ty) he was rude (and not listening to me/interrupted me) saying they don't customize, and i patiently and kindly explained it's not a customize its simply a sauce on the side. Later, My parents wanted the same thing so I asked them to plz ask him instead of me kuz I think he hates me, they laughed at me, and asked him, lone behold, the little man was even ruder to them telling them he already gave me what I needed and they explained it was for them. He brought it and said "that's enough", my parents didn't hear him. But i sure did. He didn't even bring me my correct order, but I didn't want to escalate the matter so I just ate whatever he brought. We still tipped him good. But ugh I really wanted to leave him 0 so bad. If I ever go back I def do not want him as my server. I couldn't enjoy my meal...
