This was the worst experience from the moment we walked through the door. My daughter and I arrived for an early dinner/late lunch. We waited for a table, which we were happy to do. They paged us that the table was ready and we went up to the podium. We were "greeted" with a blank stare. I show them my phone and tell them we were paged that the table was ready. The employee tells me he didn't know anything about that, he was just there to answer the phone. He gets the ok from someone in the back to seat us. We tell him we have never been there before and no reaction. Another male server comes over and greets us. I tell the server we have never been there before and his response "oh ok". We had no clue what to do. We didnt know what the sauces were. He brings these little complimentary dishes without explanation. He gets our order, forgets my daughter's drink, another female server drops off our food, again without explanation. We cook the meat on the grill. Which the beef was good. The rest was mediocre at best. The pork bellies were tough and disgusting. We read in the menu that a $5 charge would be applied if there was any left over meat. We did not order more meat. I tell the server that we are full and he stated back, "oh, you're full?" He drops off the check and never returned. We had to meet him at the front. He takes my credit card and then asks how everything was. Let's just say, I will never be back. I felt unwelcome and like I was interrupting him from the moment we walked through the door. We had no idea about any of the fancy drinks that are offered. This was not a pleasant experience. The table next to us had a little blonde server that I noted was very welcoming. Read moreI experienced bad customer service tonight when I asked to get a Taro drink instead after receiving a Matcha green milk tea that was all white and tasted nothing like Matcha. It was from a cashier girl with the rainbow bandana on her head who I believe was named Jasmine. The “Matcha” tea looked nothing like how it has in the past when I’ve ordered it and tasted like a White Peach tea. I politely asked her if she could remake me a taro instead since she stated that they used creamer in the Matcha tea when she first handed it to me. After I asked her this, she just stared at me and didn’t say anything back to me. The look she gave me made me feel like she was disgusted with me for even asking. She insisted that I pay for the difference in price which was only 54 cents if I wanted to get a Taro drink instead and said, “My dear there is a big difference because our Matcha green tea has white creamer added to it, so that’s why it is a white color”. So if white creamer was added to matcha green tea wouldn’t that make it a lighter shade of green?? The Tea I received was completely white and didn’t taste like matcha green tea. I come to this location often throughout the week. However, now I’m irritated with the lack of customer service from her and would rather not bother giving this place my business . Jasmine could have been more polite to me. Read moreBacking up with what my sister said. We get there at 10am as in the pictures attached their website and google says they open at 10am not 11am. Let me also point out, there was no hours sign on the doors when we walked up to them. We walked through the glass doors as they were opened. The waitress notices us standing in the front after several minutes. And just says we don't open until 11am and that we can serve you at 11am.
First of all both your website and google says 10am. You need to have this posted on your doors and update both the websites for current accuracy. Due to this, our first and last experience with this place was unpleasant. We wanted to try something new and get out of our comfort zone. It's not like we were rude or anything. We were just confused as the staff said one thing when the website was saying something else.
I don't think many people would go here and want to experience wasting their time on such a matter, because the business cannot get their stories and hours aligned.
We will happily take ourselves elsewhere. As being punctual is what we stand on and unfortunately we only had to experience this as other customers before us were experience other things wrong with the restaurant when they were actually served.
We were looking forward to this for a while and things were just sour...
