I live in Picture Rocks. Originally from California where I worked at the Vista Chuck E Cheese 10 years ago My 4 year old has been clamoring to go to Chuck E Cheese for her bday (we always go to Peter Piper when we go out because it's close and I do believe their food tastes better). Worked the 10 days on 1 day off in the middle routine so I finally got a day off with me and my youngest. We had to complete many tasks but I promised we'd do something I surprised her and stopped at the Speedway Chuck E Cheese The pure joy brought happiness to my heart. We did the lunch buffet which salad was a joke Iceberg with red cabbage. I recall the salad bar being pretty good but that was different No biggie, the pizza was okay. They had three to choose from, and there was 2-3 slices on each So I basically took what was there and then had to wait for more to come out Cashier also told me that pizza buffet was ending in a bout a half hour. Then reminded me the second time I was up there. I'm going the real long story way so I'm gonna break it down My daughter had fun but deserved more She didn't eat a piece of pizza. Fine I'll eat that $5 But I also got $10 worth of tokens which apparently tokens are like .33 each now. Fine The first ride she wanted to go on was the clock one Not working Told the tech He eventually fixed it and gave two coins back. Fine She explored and Rose a few more rides. Then she wanted to do the car picture with chuck e ride Not working. Now I started getting irritated. It's a Friday afternoon and not that busy, all the games should work... I then suggested to play some ticket games but all she wanted to do was ride the rides I said well let's see what else they got Tech was still working on the picture sand for ride so I saw the portrait and wanted to get a picture Out of Paper. I was upset by then 3 strikes for me. I was sad and frustrated I'm on an hour and a half window the rides aren't working the photo booth isn't I just wanted the remainder of my tokens back in cash $5 worth. I asked They said they can't I said I want to speak to the manager She made a quick appearance, unbeknownst to me The cashier came to me again and said they can't So I asked for the corporate number because I was upset already. This was the only one on one time I've had in months with my daughter who was so good during my errands and I couldn't even get a memento beside phone pictures And they said they'd give the amount of tokens of what I lost. I didn't care about that I just wanted the last 5$ back They said they can fix the game to play so I can play it My time was almost up It defeats the purpose if I have to wait around to play or ride something that should be up and running. Plus I was already upset at the malfunctions and the refusal to give my money back. So even if they fixed the picture machine quickly I wasn't in the mood to pose for a picture etc When I got a call back from corporate I explained the situation and said that they can't give cash back unless u had the tokens I said I did. And all they did was give me double my tokens which I said I did not want So I gave it to kids that were there They apologized but I just told them I don't think I want to come back Perhaps an off day...but that's all it takes The clock ride needed batteries changed The mouse picture car had jammed tickets or paper The portrait booth was out of paper These are easier routine things to do and have done. They wanted the $5 today and not the hundreds of dollars in...
Read moreFirst things first when we first got there, there was a table near us that was dirty. I asked for it to be clean it stayed dirty, the whole night. Food and trash all over the table. My party was from 3 PM to 5 PM. I ordered four pizzas at 3 PM. 20 minutes for pizza turned into an hour and 15 minutes. I did not get my pizza until after 4:15 PM and my last pizza didn’t come out until 4:50 PM, and the pizza was COLD. I got my dipping dots at 5 PM. The kids pizza was way smaller than the extra large pizzas I ordered the host did not tell me that the sizes would be different so the grown-ups and the kids ate the extra large pizza and then the kids pizza came out 20 minutes after the first pizza, so communication was a big issue for me. I spent way over $600 for things to be a mess. My pizza came out so late. They came out one at a time, 20 minutes after one another, no apology about what’s going on no updates on the pizza. No communication. I had someone at the party order wings. It was 40 minutes they went to check on it and they said there was no order put in. Chuckie was supposed to sing with us. I said give us a moment so we can gather everybody. Chuckie never came back. He went to the back. The party host was supposed to help out with setting up. She didn’t seem interested in helping out so we got everything taken care of. If I paid half of what I paid, I probably wouldn’t have an issue but $600 for poor customer service is a bit much if you ask me. I will never do a party here again. And I will be telling my friends and family not to throw a party here. Lesson learned. I felt like other parties were more important. The whole party...
Read moreWe have been to many Chuck E Cheese's before and this is by far the best one to go to. It's clean and cool inside and they do such a great job of keeping the play areas and the bathrooms spotless. They are quick to clean up any messes and nothing is sticky and grimey. The customer service is spectacular, we have gone many times and Jessica is always so helpful and because of how wonderful her customer service and hospitality is we will continue our weekly trips. I watched her tossing around a laundry basket full of balls all around for kids to grab and the way they lit up when they found a random ball was so cute. Little things like this go a long way. She made sure to take care of us when my coupon was not scanning and went ABOVE and BEYOND, she is a great face for the company. Besides Jessica, everyone else there is just as kind, patient and polite. Typically when I go somewhere like this for kids I expect at least a few grumpy employees or teenagers that don't care, bit everyone is smiley and friendly and kind. Even when there is a line at the proze counter and my son is taking 20 minutes to spend his prized 3000 tickets...I never feel rushed. I HIGHLY recommend the gold member 8 week program, I will take part in that any time it's available. Getting 2 60 min cards a week, bringing our reusable cups and spending 13 bucks on a pizza each week is a freaking steal.
Thanks for giving me a safe and comfortable place to bring my kiddo to when it's too hot to breathe outside. Yall are doing something very right with your employees and I...
