I just attempted to order through the drive through and use the Mc Donald's app they offer use of for their restaurant and I ordered a free chicken sandwich which I earned from my points I've accumulated from past purchases there at this establishment. Upon using my code the lady informed me that the code it generated was not valid and would not work. She proceeds to tell me to log out and log back in to generate a fresh or new code and so I did. I then noticed that the app had removed the points from my account and therefore I could not generate a new code because there were not even enough points to do so since the app had already removed my points with the first code. I was told there was nothing this restaurant could do to get my free sandwich or refund me my points that they deducted from my account. I asked to speak to a manager his name was Booker and he took a minute to actually get to the window before he said there were several issues with the app and there's nothing they could do or make the situation back to how I at least started prior to not being able to generate a valid code. They did not show any concerns to want to even hear my complaint just basically shutting me down with they have had issues all day and not their problem. I feel if the app is an offered system of your business then there should be some type of way where people aren't just taken from and not given a product as promised. If u offer an app you should stand by it and be able to help customers when issues like that arise I earned those points that they deducted tonight and now they are not on my account and the manager could not help me. That's really disappointing and now I'm left with having to deal with a simple issue that could of been simply resolved tonight but I have to escalate because the establishment doesn't have any control of the system they offer. Thanks for nothing and I will be seeking a full refund for my points. The attitude of the manager didn't show concern or even make me even feel my issue was worthy of him with sincere focus or concern. So the Construction Company I work for has been doing work around Speedway and Alvernon. I buy lunch for my crew every day and McDonald's is one of the few fast food restaurants close to our jobsite. Most of the time, I use the McDonald's mobile app to order lunch for my crew at least 3 days a week. However, when you customize your order by adding extra pickles or adding cheese to you Spicy McChicken, this McDonald's is more than willing to charge you extra and not add cheese as well as short you on sandwiches.
Thursday Jan 14, instead actually reading the order and adding cheese to our sandwiches, they simply threw 2 Std sandwiches in the bag. Had to call the 800 #, because the location wouldn't answer the phone. On Monday Jan 18, they shorted us an entire sandwich. This time the location actually answered the phone and I was able to speak to one of the Managers. The Manager said that she would replace the missing sandwich and add something for the inconvenience. On Tuesday Jan 19, I placed another order and sent one of the guys on my crew to pickup our order and the missing sandwich from the Previous Day. However, instead of simply honoring their word, the Manager was extremely rude to my carpenter and refused to replace a simple sandwich. Apparently there is no Honor nor Respect for the common working man at this Franchise McDonald's...

Read moreI keep telling myself don't go in the evening time well it's only 3:30 so I thought it would be safe to grab a hamburger. I have mine without mustard and pickles so I customize on the App, if I want extras I know how to use condiment section. I get to the window girl with the ring in her nose says here you go I put some ketchup in there for you I said what, why? I did you do that she said oh they're on the side, we do that for every bag, I said no you didn't (been coming here over 30 yrs!) that's just a couple of ketchup I said no take them out she's like arguing with me about this I get really pissed off hand her the bag and tell her again remove them from the back cuz I don't need or want them and I don't want to throw them away she reaches in and grabs one and I look in I see another one I said look if there's anything in there I'm going to wind up bringing it in and throwing it at you take the ketchup out she reaches and takes another one out I call the manager because of her nasty attitude and the little girl "manager" in house clothes listens to everything and then the only thing she has to say is well you can't be threatening the employees. 😳 I said look I do not understand but I will talk to Trish in the morning (She's the most excellent manager at any McDonald's in Tucson). I am baffled that this young punk of a manager had the nerve to say that to me when I told her it I would have never said that had the Ringnose girl not put in ketchup that I did not request OR argue with me.
