We have always shopped her for every appliance we have ever needed. This place has always felt like a family owned business that cares about their customers. No one wants to deal with a broken appliance, but Tucson Appliance has always made the experience of buying a new product simple and easy with great prices. I am very sad to say that after being a customer for over 10 years, we will never be back. We went in to purchase a dishwasher last weekend, and the salesperson Alex assisted us. We were told there was new products and scratch and dent products by Alex. At first glance it was noticeable that the prices were all alot higher than we were used to seeing at Tucson appliance (ushally they beat all others in town) but we assumed that they were also hit with inflation. Even though there were dishwashers we could get for less elsewhere we trusted the company as we had for years. Me and my husband looked at the dishwashers and chose one that did not have a dent. Alex the sales person took a picture of the dishwasher and wrote up the bill. We pulled around back and they brought the dishwasher out to load into the truck this dishwasher was wrapped in plastic wrap and they put it into the truck. We drove home which is more than 50 minutes away. We come home and pull out out old dishwasher and start installing the new dishwasher after hooking up the waterline we unwrap the dishwasher and to our shock there is a huge dent in the dishwasher along with a bunch of scratches that were not present of the dishwasher we chose and Alex took a picture of to write up. We paid almost $450 dollars for a dishwasher for it to be dented! I knew instantly which dishwasher this was down another row this very dishwasher had sat me and my husband had seen this dishwasher and we said no we did not want that one. There clearly was a miscommunication and they grabbed the wrong dishwasher when they went to bring it out. If this was the only thing wrong mabey it could have been overlooked but unfortunately it was not. My husband proceeds to hook up the dishwasher as we already have it half hooked up and we can't leave the wires exposed. Upon hooking up the wires there is a missing cover for the dishwasher wire cavity as if this is not distressing enough we also find out that they did not include the kick guard for the dishwasher! I called Alex back and he did not seem to care at all mumbling they must have forgot to put it with the dishwasher and he has it on his desk. He knew we were gonna call and he had it on his desk instead of reaching out to us possibly catching us before we got home he chose to let us know that after getting a half broken dishwasher for nearly 450 dollars we also need to drive back almost an hour for yet another mistake. Never have I ever been so unhappy with a purchase in my life so upset and Alex needs retraining on how to properly treat customers. I will not be going back and my family also will not take part in shopping with tucson appliance.
Edit* I just wanted to shout out to Dustin. Thank you for reaching out. Even though the experience may have started off as troublesome, Dustin reached out and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Dustin actually had another dishwasher installed and hauled away the dented one. We could not be happier the issues qas resolved and we love our new dishwasher. I think this goes to show that tucson appliance really goes out of their way to make sure that their customers are happy. Thank you, Dustin, for regaining our trust and really standing behind the products that you sell. Thank...
Read more(LONG REVIEW BUT CRITICAL FOR NON TUCSON METRO AREA CUSTOMERS, would give zero stars if I could): Purchased a top of line Speed Queen washer and dryer set ($3100) in September 2022 based off reviews as the best in the industry. They offered the set we wanted, provided a veterans discount, delivery and set-up which was extremely important since we are located outside of the Tucson metro area. The whole transaction we painless, they price matched, had the equipment in stock, all over the phone. Fast forward to July 2024, the dryer goes out. I was not to concerned since Speed Queen comes with a seven year warranty, one of the best in the industry and service provided by the store. Reached out to set up service only to be told Tucson Appliance does not service outside the Tucson Metro area! I was however provided a number to another vendor who does service my area and proceeded to make an appointment with that company, two week wait time. As I began to think about what I was just told, I thought: Tucson Appliance had zero problem selling me the set, zero issue with delivering to my area, and zero issues taking our money. During the initial transaction, there was never any mention that they did not service my area, there is nothing in writing on the sales receipt notifying customers nor on the website, and even their phone message says "we service what we sale", weird. Spent the next three days contacting multiple people within the organization with Dustin being the main contact. At first they were somewhat responsive but quickly felt like they were "ducking" my calls as we progressed. I offered a couple different options on getting the dryer serviced with zero luck. On the third day after at least seven calls, I offered that I would pay out of pocket for a local certified vendor to service the dryer and they would simply reimburse me. Dustin stated he would talk to the owner and get back to me. Guess what, never got back to me! This is how Tucson Appliance will "service" customers outside their local area. As a disabled vet and a citizen who works very hard for their money, this company is only concerned with moving product out the door and the bottom line, no worry about customers who were sold products with the assumption of full service only to be told we live too far. Again, they did provide the contact information of another vendor who services our area, so theres that. We will now wait until the other vendor repairs the dryer with ZERO support from Tucson Appliance. If you live outside the Tucson area and want full service and a company who stands by the products they sale with service they state they provide, and who cares for veterans and hard working Americans, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM...
Read moreMy washer machine died and my husband and I spent an entire day shopping around. We went to several places. We spent at least 30 minutes in Best Buy at the appliances and not one employee acknowledged us. They walked past us. We went the Christy's and the one scratch and dent machine costed almost as much as a brand new one at Best Buy with no warranty at all. We went to Appliances 4 Less. They have signs everywhere saying that everything is 50% less there. That's a lie, same price as Best Buy. Finally we went to Tucson Appliance. I wish we started there. If you're reading this, don't waste your time, go straight to Tucson Appliance. They close at 6pm and we arrived at 5:20pm. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Trimaine "Mr.T" was our guy and I told him exactly what we needed and our price range. He led us right to our options and I made my decision. We got a used washer with i a 6 month warranty. Money is pretty tight right now. So the upsale from Appliances 4 Less and Christy's was unappreciated. Best Buy obviously wasnt trying to sell anything. We paid for the machine and delivery yesterday (Monday) at almost closing time. We were told we would receive a call from the delivery team after 7am the next morning. Shortly after 7am we got the call and they told us they'd be there between 7:30 and 8:30am. Unfortunately we had not even moved the old washer yet and my husband had to go to work I got stuck trying to remove screws from a shelf that was over the machine because the faucet would not close since the shelf was blocking it. The delivery team, Paul and X arrived and I was frazzled. They were kind and very professional. X got right in there and helped with the last screw that had given me so much trouble. Meanwhile Paul got the new machine and was ready. X got everything unhooked and moved the dead machine. They both stood back and gave me the opportunity to clean the area the old washer sat for a couple decades probably. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in that entire time! X told me take my time and let them know when I was ready. They got the new machine installed and tested it. X explained the machine and even gave me some advice. Fabric softener will gunk up your machine. If you do use it, do a double or power rinse to wash away the gunk. I had no idea, but it makes sense! It's now 9am and I have been washing while I write this. They were all done and gone by 8:30am. They are my heros today!! I usually don't do reviews unless someone pissed me off. I am compelled to put up this review because of the excellent service I received from Tucson Appliance. I will be a lifetime customer for sure. You should definitely check them out if you need a new or used with...
