The building is easy to miss, if your not paying attention. It looks like if it's closed from the outside. The building is kinda run down, the inside is a bit plan but functional. I didn't see any options to eat inside, this place looks like it's "to go" only. I didn't see any parking for the bakery, I had to park at the church. Masks not required, staff was unmasked. They accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX and they have tap to pay so google and apple pay too, there is a fee to pay with card, at the time of this visit is was 0.70¢. I was really looking forward to LeCaves famous potato batter glazed doughnuts, only to find that its no longer LeCaves!! WHAT?!?!? When the hell did that happen?!?!?

So I shook off my initial shock off and went in only to find that they hadn't made ANY doughnuts!! It was already 8am!! Shouldn't they start making them at like 2am?!?!

BEST CONCHAS EVER!! My boyfriend and I love Mexican sweet bread and often like to enjoy one with our daily routine coffee. I've passed by Mendez Bakery daily and finally decided to stop in and try them out. All I can say WOW!! We got a variety of pan dulce and the quality was amazing. My favorite being the conchas, they were warm, soft and flakey the best I've ever tried hands down!
