Up 'til 2020 or so, they had a real pizza oven and the dough/crust was decent thin/crusty/bubbly/handmade and the overall quality fell between chain pizza like hut/pj's and high-quality local pizza. Way above-average for "bowling alley pizza". An anomaly.
A change was made around 2023: Frozen single-size crust, and seemingly cheaper ingredients. Gas station / freezer quality.
Honestly, a bowling alley that exceeds gas-station-quality pizza probably doesn't make sense if the drinking 10pm bowlers don't care, but it also doesn't make sense any more as a competitive neighborhood takeout option.
