I'm sad to say today's visit didn't go as usual, perhaps it was the time and day? That is, sunday evening. The drive thru lane stretched to speedway so we decided to use the carry-out/dine in option! First of all the entire inside dinning area was closed to the public maybe to help with the current situation which is a bit ironic and pointless when you have @ least 10-15 customers standing in a small spot on the lobby waiting to get their order in and out for about 10 minutes each! The dinning area is big enough to take the necessary separation precautions but my guess is maybe the employees didn't want to have to clean-up so much since it was later in the evening? The few outside tables were open and customers had to sit much closer to each other than inside so as I said.. pointless! My problem started with the cashier who rudely told my husband, who was wearing a full face covering bandana, he couldn't be there so he was practically kicked out. He asked if she had a disposable mask as most establishments that are this strict do, to which she said no and again refused him service! At this point in time there was no one else in the restaurant and so I think she could have handled the situation differently as he had his nose and mouth covered , unlike her who's mask kept slipping! Anyhow, we ended up having to wait in line again after I had to go back and order for my husband and it delayed our stay as a result! The only good point this time is the food, which was fresh, although french fry portions were somewhat meek in comparison to other times we have ordered! All in all the staff that was attending to customers today was not the greatest I've experienced @...
Read moreThe chicken fingers are really good. They are always hot and fresh. The batter is tasty and not too thick. They're never over done. The roll that they provide with their meals is delicious. However, the french fries are mediocre, at best. You have to check and make sure you get what you ordered when you go to the drive-through because they make a lot of mistakes. But they don't mind fixing them as long as you don't mind bringing it up. There's always a line at the drive-thru except in the very middle of the night and even then there may be one or two cars. They do wear gloves when they hand you your order and they have masks on inside although I did see a couple of employees with their masks below their nose. I'm sure it gets very hot in there but, you know how it is... have to wear a mask. They are open till 2 or 3 in the morning, so it's always nice that they're there because you can get something hot to eat in the middle of the night. I think that they're a little on the expensive side, but where else can you get hot food that is...
Read moreThis Canes location used to be good; not anymore. We used to come twice a week and lately its been bad and SOME employees rude. Order alot of food and asked for 8 ketchups and extra napkins small young lady said "sure absolutely" and put 4 ketchups and 2 napkins. This isn't the first time that happened; but, most importantly the chicken fingers and fries have not been hot, fresh and barely warm. We order extra tenders and half the time we don't get. They have someone taking your order and calling it in and I repeat 3 different times. This location has gotten bad and we no longer will go; today is the last time they cheat us. It used to be good. When in the Speedway area we will go to that location which is very good. If you go there double check your order before you leave and expect attitude from SOME employees who dont want to be there! There are some good people who work there and hopefully they...
