I have never been so publicly humiliated and embarrassed in my life . i come here often for the last 2 years i have never never had a problem or confortation.lastnight i walk in with a my date who happens to be a paralegal and had a seat a waiter walks up to our table and says to me we are not going to serve u i was confused i asked her why she said because everytime u come in here u short us on your tab and you are rude and that u had a confrontation with a server named marrissa right off the back i tell her you are making a huge mistake i have never did either of those things and i have never had a problem with anyone she tells me yea yea yes u did i was here nelly and i witnessed it i immediately became pissed off because this never Ever transpired Ever and so i ask nelly what happened when it happened marrissa and nelly stories were completely different which pissed me off even more and i always Always tip its a ocd thing so i felt so disrespected i walked up to the bartender ol lady with gray hair and she doesnt even vouch for me when she knows me and friends use to come there so much she knew me by name and could recognize my voice even over the phone and she never had any sort of problem with me she just agreed with marrissa who i never disrespected or argued with i was the only black person in the entire bar and she told me i had to leave or she was calling the police i know the chef personally and he will validate i never had problems there with anyone i was so embarrassed disrespected and just demoralized that i asked to speak with the owner these young girls laughed in my face with sarcastic remarks and say well shes gone for 2weeks so leave and comeback in front of like 60 white ppl while i was the only black guy that i feel this is not acceptable i have nothing but great things to say about red garter until lastnight i have brought alot of ppl here and i tell anyone that will listen red garter is the best burger in tucson i was so sad depressed and disrespected lastnight i am filing a lawsuit against red garter nelly & marrissa for public humiliation and refusing service to me because of my race because there is literally no other reason to treat me the way they did when i never wronged anyone and i always tip i couldnt even sleep thinking about what i went thru lastnight i work so hard just to be belittled disrespected and discriminated against all my friends said they are pissed and had words for them and the owner because we all know i never. Did anything to deserve 2 be treated like that this was my FAVORITE place to get away im even gone give the owner a chance to reach out to me because im truly truly hurt and disrespected entirely if they allow that to go on in there great establishment and there is no further actions taking im filing a lawsuit against them for there inappropriate behavior and COMPLETELY FABRICATING a story that never ever happened i called this my 2nd home but now im COMPLETELY disgusted by those 2 waiters. thank u...

Wonderful to find this place in our neighborhood. Relocated permanently to Tucson in September 2021 - walked by here many times before visiting, from the outside I could take it or leave it - appears a bit 'dated' - DO NOT let that deter you from going inside....

Tried it in November 2021 - will be a repeat customer, likely every week. The menu is extensive which caused me some trepidation, when a place focuses on too many items, my experience is the food suffers (Think Cheesecake Factory) I had the fries (perfectly cooked), then the cheeseburger with onion rings (Again perfectly prepared) - 5 stars. Service from Kellie - 5 stars, bartenders super efficient, reasonably priced food / drinks. Four pool tables in the non smoking section, separated by four pool tables in the smoking section (glass divider). Place smells / looks really clean, bathrooms fully stocked and clean. My only criticism (jokingly) is the door to the outside squeaks by the pool tables - but I picked up a can of WD40 yesterday and will solve that issue next visit.

I have gone to this bar for 9+ years! I spent my 21st birthday here. I have brought countless new friends here. And today I had the most disheartening, sad display of service from someone name Kaitlin or Catelyn or however she may spell it. If the owners Matt or Tara W. are willing to reach out to me regarding this issue that would be the only way I would ever step foot or recommend stepping foot in here again. I cannot believe the bullying and complete mistreatment that went on. Rallying the other customers or at least attempting while just causing complete discomfort for everyone. I have never been treated this way or seen an employee treat someone this way except for in online videos. I'm so upset about this and this is the first step I'm able to take. I will not allow people to be treated in this way and I will not allow myself to be treated this way either. This girl Kaitlin is an extremely mean hearted and rude girl and as long as she is working there I will not ever give my money to this bar or...
