I had never been here before and my BF decided to take me here for something new as he had been here before. He was not sure if there was vegetarian choices because it was not listed on the regular menu, but they have the options online. So we went. When we got there I was amazed at the size of the place because I was thinking it was just gonna be a small place like inside a mall because he had said it was by the mall. It this place was astounding and the look was appealing. I was excited to go inside and try their food. When we got inside there was a short wait and the. We were seated. We were told our server would be over shortly. As I searched the menu there were so many drinks that looked intriguing and I wanted to try, but I had to choose one of course lol. Our server came and introduced herself and asked if we would like to order drinks, I got water for time being and my boyfriend got a raspberry lemonade, which most times we both get some sort of lemonade, so it was no surprise he got it this time. When the waitress, Kiara was her name, came back she was a little short, not height, but attitude. She was a little rushy because I had never been there I needed some time to look at the menu. My boyfriend asked about the vegetarian options and she said they were only online and were 4 things that she then listed. My boyfriend being the sweet soul that he iis, pulled it up for me on his phone and I ended up choosing the vegetarian tacos. My BF ordered the skirt steak churrasco. Once we had ordered I also ordered an ultimate pinã colada as my drink (non alcoholic version) this was told to me by my waitress when asked that it had strawberry added making it ultimate. So I was intrigued. After some time she brought my drink and I tried it, it was good. I also had my BF try it and he liked it too. He had me try his and I was blown away by the sour. It was so delicious. After a little more time our food arrived and we ate and it was really good. I liked the salad dressing that they put on the salad. It has a mustard flavor and a little kick to it. I love mustard and vinegar Exte so it is perfect combo for me. I ate every bite as did my BF for his order. After we had eaten I was really interested in the key lime pie they had, so my awesome BF ordered us a piece to share and believe me it was plenty for us both. The mango and raspberry sauces added an exotic flavor that matched well with the lime. Overall it was a great experience even if the server was a little rude at first. She was great overall and was nice by the time our food arrived. I would definitely go back and try another option for vegetarian and another drink. Very please t place and looking forward to another time...
Read moreMeal is always excellent. Originally tried Bahama Breeze in Orlando. Was very surprise to discover one in Tukwila and have frequented this location many times now.
The Lump Crab Stack and the Lobster and Shrimp Quesadilla are an absolute must, especially during their half priced happy hour! Both are consistently delicious and hearty in their seafood.
Which leads me to another item I tried for the first time tonight. The Bahamian Seafood Chowder was excellent. On average, most clam/seafood, ect. chowders are heavy in potatoes with seafood sparley mixed in. This was not the case. I was pleasantly surprised to have fully loaded spoonful with each bite; a balanced mix of seafood and potatoes cut into a preferable small size. I will definately order this again.
However, I am very disappointed in two of their new menu items. Their Buttermilk Chicken Jabaritos are a little ridiculous, they are essentially a chicken tender between two fried plantains, dry but with a side of dipping sauce, with a pickle tooth picked on top. The breading is way to heavy and I would rather have seen the dish served as tenders with a side of plantains instead of them trying to make it more than it really was. Disappointing. The second was their calamari. It was thin, heavily breaded and not very tasty. Both of these two items were very greasy, so much so that the grease alone made the two become unappitizing. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up. You're sure to find something on the menu that you'll enjoy.
P.S. I don't know how I feel about their Breeze Cheese Bites. Maybe there was already too much grease going around but I didn't love them and I didn't hate them, but I only had a couple before I was done.
P.S.S Something I feel they lost a star for me is one more than one occasion I have seen an employee walk away from a guest rolling their eyes or have overheard undesriable conversations amongst the employees about their negative feeling towards certain guests while they were standing around their wait stations and I was seated near. I feel this is very unprofessional. One time and I would let it go but I have seen/heard it more than once. I understand people can be difficult but at the very least, keep it to the back or kitchen. It can make other guests uncomfortable during their dinner.

Read moreI've been by this place several times over the years and always thought it was cute but I never had time to check it out. My family decided to do a little mini vacation and Bahama Breeze seemed like a crowd pleaser for our dinner. Vai was our server and she was lovely. Very personable and she did a great job on her first day serving by herself. It was happy hour so I ordered the Mojito Cubano and it was very refreshing AND strong. We started with the chicken tostones. The tostones were perfect. Super crispy but still soft inside. I would have actually eaten them plain, they were so good. I did like the toppings but for me they just tasted like nachos nothing earth shattering but still good. For entrees my husband had the jerk chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was tender, moist and well seasoned. Our son had chicken tenders and judging by how quickly he made then disappear if I'd say they were probably pretty good. For me, the stuffed plantain. I did enjoy it but there was one issue that felt glaring. It's supposed to have ground beef in it and I'm not entirely sure mine did. The vast majority of the filing was rice. It was still flavorful but I do think there should have been a lot more meat. I thought I saw maybe a bite or two's worth. There is a vegetarian option so maybe there was a mixup. Anyway, it was a great meal regardless. There was even a snafu involving a pineapple butter cake we didn't order that made its way to our table. The manager let us keep it and I'm not complaining because it was divine. Rich, sweet and boozy. I would have given 5 stars if not for the lack of beef in my entree. We'll definitely be back next time we're...
