The time I visited was August 6th at around 12pm and I staff I had the opportunity to interact was James, Lynn, and Kyle who all works as associates. The state of the store during my visit was very calm, there were about 5 or 6 employees with about 35 people in the store. The store exterior presents a simplistic white store front with a lot of product very close to the entrance, very different from the clothing stores that also occupy the store. I was greeted kindly by an employee at the entrance with a simple “Hello” and a smile that lifted the spirits of those entering the establishment. While looking for a couple pieces of clothes to help expand my wardrobe, there were a couple pieces that I requested in a different size and Lynn was the one to help me look in inventory for the appropriate size. Lynn came back at a reasonable time and out of consideration brought some other pieces that I would possibly consider. After grabbing several other pieces of clothes I wanted, I wandered the store to browse for other possible clothes. While in the aisle for belts Lynn approaches me and asks, “Is there anything else that you are looking for or are you just taking your time to look around?”. I kindly just said I’m looking around and we separated shortly after. After browsing for about another 5 minutes I head over to checkout where there was already a person behind the POS system waiting. The checkout was very streamlined, the associate named Kyle was very comfortable in their role. They started a conversation with me mid checkout to ask about my day, to which I responded with “It’s been going well so far, just buying some clothes to update my wardrobe. How about yourself?”. They responded “Day is going well, today has been slower than most Sundays but busy enough to forget about the time.”. Before finishing the transaction they offered their membership system to which I kindly refused. Upon leaving the store the same associate by the entrance who was now fixing piles of clothes by the front made sure to say “Enjoy the rest of your day.” as I was leaving. Overall, the experience I had was very pleasant, with nothing standing out as a negative from my visit. Despite the number of people, most if not all the customers seemed to be able to find what products they were looking for, and if not readily available an associate was close by who could check the back inventory for anymore. There is a reason this store chain is so popular currently over their competitors in the mall such as JCPenny and Macy, and aside from their targeted selection of clothes, but their service is very streamlined and a pleasure...

But when I started looking around and asked an employee I saw, she was not friendly and straight up answer is what she gave me. Not helpful. So I picked out quite a few to buy because there are lots of sale items. But when I got to the cashiers only one item registered as on sale. So I asked the cashier to show me which items are on sale for jacket, he could not tell me. We both went back to the aisle and I showed him the sign. The cashier could not explain whats going on. I was upset, only bought 1 item rather that 5, and told the cashiers that they need to get their sign prices and items together. I will not go back though I like Uniqlo’s cold weather stuff. So I started shopping in store and use their phone app. What’s the point of having purchase history if can’t be returned with that? They said it doesn’t show the price there - so why not update the app to include the price instead to avoid return hassle? I bought two T Shirts with the different colors on two separate dates IN STORE (3 days apart). I missed clicking on e-receipt on one of them as I assumed the purchase history in the app already recorded. They only accepted the item with e-receipt even though they are brand new, tagged on and recorded in the history. They were okay with that before and now they said the policy changed!!
