Ruscello at Nordstrom — Restaurant in Tukwila

I was a regular at Ebar, juice bar next to the Cafe and been to the cafe a couple times and I’m a regular shopper at Nordstrom till Tuesday. I thought Nordstrom would be a good company to work for because I like it there so much so I filled out an application for the cafe Asst: Manger position and received a call on January 22nd at 10:53am from a guy named Chris well he left a message saying he received my resume and wanted talk to me and to give him a call back, I then called back and talked to Chris in the cafe he asked if I could come in for an interview, I then said sure but I already have an interview at the mall today at 1pm he then asked if I could stop by after that and I said sure and that I’m guessing the interview would take an hour or around two o’clock I’m thinking, then Chris said okay see you then. Here is the best part of this review, so my interview went longer then one hour, it was over at 3:26pm and the person I interviewed with was 30 minutes late so not my fault but when I was done I called Chris to let him know I’m sorry and that I didn’t know my interview was going to take that long then Chris responded back to me with Ohhh sounds like your interview went good with a lot of sarcasm then I said sorry again and he was just silent and then said Well I get in at 8am tomorrow and I will look things over then I’ll call you back. Well never received a call back thank god because would not of answered his call. I would not want to work with a guy that treats his future team members like this and I can’t even imagine how he treats his team that he works with. Maybe that’s why they are always hiring.

I have already told all my friends about this experience that I had, they were all shocked and said they would never come back also.

After all that I could not even imagine ever stepping foot into Nordstrom ever again not even ebar.

It’s also funny how Nordstrom had my post deleted on my Yelp, well guess what that’s not the only place I can post this. They think by just deleting my post I’m going to go away well no way because I want everyone to know how your team member can treat people. I would of expected a call from the Human Resource...

Some Nordstrom Cafés (Now Marketplace cafe) did not offer the same menu but nowadays I started to notice that most Nordstrom Cafés offer the same menu which is a great news to me. Because back in the days when this bread pudding was not offered at most locations I had to go find the Nordstrom Café that offered this dish. A few years ago it was only offered at Lynnwood and Tacoma Nordstrom cafes in the greater Seattle area. The size was way bigger - see my 3rd photo - and the price was just a little higher too but that was better honestly.

Now, the portion got reduced in half and the price has reduced a little but the taste and the quality have remained the same for my favorite dish - bread pudding. In my opinion, this is the best dessert you can get out of anywhere. Pretty high calories though, close to 1k if you eat it all including the whip cream and white chocolate that is molten on the dish. I still don’t care about calories when it comes to desserts and I will always go to Nordstrom café for this dish as long as...

Went in at 2:50 pm on a Sunday evening. I do not regret coming in . At first i was a bit unsure of what to order considering how small the menu was so i decided to ask the server for her opinion. She ended up recommending a meatball pasta which i loved so much. If i could go back tn i would. The only concerning thing is the size of the plate. It is a very small portion and didn’t even get me full. Luckily i ate my girlfriends food otherwise i would’ve had to order a second plate.
