I like this bakery. I have head about it and their many location around USA, so happy to try it here. The location connivence is awesome! If you are going to the mall, you can easily grab a pastry as a treat or for as a special occasion. The bakery itself is clean and following COVID protocol. The staff is pleasant but they can do a bit more to greet the customer and make them more welcome. There is a glass window where you can see the bakers bake. I was disappointed and would have given a higher review, had their been more variety of things. When you enter and turn left, there is usually all the baked goodness but today it was all empty. Literally empty. So I tried what was available - cookie, muffin and sweet brioche bun. What I truly wanted to try was their Milk Bread/toast which they were out of and will be for sometime. So I ended up trying their pastries/cakes section which they were more stocked up on. The sweets, themselves, tasted okay. The best thing that I tried was the Black Forest slice and it was absolutely delish! I would come back just for that and hopefully the milk bread/toast is back too! Try this bakery, it's easy on the pocket, clean, good, and light.

Four stars for food and drinks. One star for organization and long waits. One would think that after opening 900 bakeries all over the world and 26 locations in the US, that the company would have a better idea on how to eliminate long lines. The long lines are due to the slow check out process. Even though there were only 12 people on front of me waiting to pay, it still took 25 minutes to get to my turn. They didn't open up the fourth register until the line reached the door. After paying, i then had to wait another 10 minutes for my drinks. Overall, i spent 40 minutes in the store, and that time should have only been 20. I really feel sorry for people who had to wait longer than that. It's really not worth it. Onto organization, 90% of the pastries did not have labels on them so i had no idea what i was buying. As for pastries, I like most of the pastries here. They're light easy to eat. I don't care too much for the savory ones as i find they're often drier than the sweet ones. The drinks are great too.

Super busy today, getting bread and pastries was fast like 5-10 min but waiting for my drink took at least an extra 20 min. Couldn’t hear the numbers they were calling for drinks, when I walked up (lots of people were crowded around the drink pick up counter (which is tiny!) to check and asked if the drink there was the lychee milk tea, the shorter blonde lady working on Sunday 11/3 at 3:58pm huffed back at me, “Can’t you read the label??” Surprised at her attitude, I quickly looked at the cup and the label was turned away from customers! I don’t like touching others’ drinks unless absolutely required and I also don’t want a bunch of other people touching my drink either… I picked it up and looked, it was my drink. She literally could have just nodded or said yes! Have to work on customer service. I haven’t been here in a while, might be another while before the next time I come back. Hopefully they’ll be kinder next time, especially to customers who are also buying a lot of their bread/pastries!

What happen to the 85c bakery in Tukwila lately???

Yesterday stopped at the store and bought a birthday cake for a friend and a cup of coffee for myself.

Not sure what happen to the managent of the store lately??? Last week many times were running out their basic needed stocks?

The store were running out of paper bags for the breads? So, I had to buy a toll bag for my breads? Then asking for some napkins, and no napkins neither, the worker was searching everywhere for napkins?

Yesterday, they were also ruuning out the cake cutters? Which it was always provided when you purchase a whole cake!

The most unheard of it was yesterday, when I asked to put a bit whip cream for my coffee, the lady who was making the coffee said" it will be an extra charge for the whip cream!" What??? I have never heard of paying extra money for whip cream on the coffee? Before was never a problem at this store or at any other coffee shops?

Not sure what happen to the store? Was that really a new store policy to charge customers for the whip cream on coffee Or just that lady was bullshiting to me?

I have been a regular customer to this store ever since the store was opened! It was very disappointing yesterday. Is there a new management problem? Or really the store policy has been changed?

For sure, I am not willing to go back again when the store continues running out their basic stocks or charge extra for the whip cream on...

I've heard about this Asian bakery ever since it opened but I never visited this place due to the extremely long line. Now after it has been in business for about two years I finally got a chance to go there.

The quality of the bakery produce did not disappoint me. But I have to give this one 3 stars for the following reasons.

When I visited there, I saw a fly crawling inside a bin full of baked goods. I tried to take a photo of it but it flew away before I could do that. Yes, it flew away and was able to get inside because the cover for the bin was wide open. That may not be the fault of the business, perhaps the previous customer did not close the cover. But there were employees working there all the time, coming and going but none of them attempted to close the bin.

The amount of plastic they use there is ridiculous. I like their bakery goods, at the same time I also don't want to kill my planet. The employees there probably were trained to do this so I don't blame them. What they did was to wrap each baked produce in a small plastic bag before putting everything into a large bag for you to carry. I wish they would use paper instead. I would be more than happy to pay a higher price to cover the cost of using paper. It is shocking to see the amount of plastic bags they used when you go...
