Love the food. It is amazing every time we go. Chili Verde Fries, wet burrito, and tacos are my go-to. Also, best horchata around! I don't order it anywhere else! However, I gave it a 4-star rating because I dont care for most of the staff in the Tulare location. Tacos y Tortas Chalio 3, in Hanford, has really set the bar for me. I feel like the Tulare location doesn't welcome me the way a paying customer should be welcomed. I've seen them get friendly with customers of "their heritage" and when they get to me, the smile disappears and they look me up and down before barely muttering "How can I help you?"2. I dont appreciate being treated that way because 1) I am deciding to spend my hard-earned cash at this business. 2) I am a light-skinned Mexican and I do, in fact, speak Spanish. 3) I have experienced being shamed for being light-skinned my whole life and for grown adults to make me feel less than is out of this world. Please, don't go here for the service. If anything, go here...
Read moreWhile driving halfway across the country on a family road trip, we decided to get dinner and a hotel in Tulare, California. It was our first time in this city as we had just came down from the Sequoia National Park and we were tired of all the fast food on the road for the past 6 days. We were craving tacos since we are from South Texas. We found this location on Google, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint at all. From the friendly teller who explained well the menu to the prompt preparation of the tacos right in front of you in a clean environment. Asada and Pastor taco flavor was Awesome 👌. Highly recommend this place to everyone local or just passing by like we were. Definitely will stop by if we ever pass by here again. As a true TexMex Hispanic with Mexican Roots that has eaten and tasted a lot of tacos..🌮🤣 I definitely approve it 👌. P.s. I know you guys will love ❤️ it too. Thanks again and keep up the Great Service!!...
Read moreI am a man of comparative value and seeing where the best option lies for my dollar. This is by far the worst decision I have made in Tulare selecting a late night eatery. To begin with they do not have the prices on their menu items. The 24/7 did lure me in as it was a 930 on a Sunday, however the $18 I paid for the burrito, chips & salas were not at all worth it. The food was okay, however, what got me to rate this joint 1 star was that I compared it to actual 15-18 dollar dishes I would get up in San Fransisco, and this was a sub par attempt in delivering quality food and an experience to the customer for that price point. if comparing to Sf is not fair, then why charge those prices? I’m sticking to my go to tacos Melaque in Visalia where I can pick up a California burrito and chips and salsa for $10. Given it is Visalia but I often float around the two. Highly doubt I’ll...
