Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Tullahoma

My husband and I went here through the drive through and the chicken was tasty but the fries left a lot to be desired. BUT the service was not good. We didn’t order anything extravagant just some tenders and waffle fries or I think they called them lattice fries, same thing. People in front of us got served just fine, the staff was friendly to them as far as we could see. They chatted with them and all but when it got to us they had nothing to say, not even a hi or how are you today. We are two of the friendliest people you could ever meet so when they acted this way towards us it dumbfounded me. Not only that but we had to wait 20 minutes for our food while two cars behind ours got served their food. Finally after my husband was about to talk to the manager we got our food and we just left. No sorry for your wait, no attempt to make it right, no thank you come again, nothing. Needless to say we won’t ever go back no matter how good the chicken tasted. And the fries were horrible, no salt, no flavor. All the tv ads show kind caring over the top friendly people that will serve you and that’s what we were hoping to find in Tullahoma, didn’t have to be that over the top and all but we expected at least a bit friendly on their part. Mostly good things to say about this chic fil a, been going for years. I know the owner and much of the staff and know that they are determined to make your experience there great. That being said; I have absolutely no idea how I can order something on the app, show up in curbside, they cook/prepare the food, bring it out to me (like 20ft from the door), and it's already cold. I'm not exactly sure how the process works, I know that other fast food places don't start the process until you show up, unless stated otherwise. Somehow, chic fil a is just incapable of delivering warm food unless through the drive through or dining in. I have had this experience for several months, and it's all different times of the day. Which makes me think that it is not a person's fault, but rather the fault of some kind of procedure or process that is used for curbside orders. As always, I will wait a bit and over the course of a few months will edit this post if anything changes in that time. My daughter picked up dinner after a long day at work for the family and trusted the order was correct. She got home and one of the sandwiches from a combo was missing. A $47 order and when I called, Bethany from the Tullahoma,TN store with her very sweet voice stating it is my pleasure offered me a free sandwich the next time we ate there. Bethany… it is not free!!! We already paid for it!!! For the inconvenience of not having dinner, she fried offer me a free fry. When I told her that really didn’t make up for the inconvenience of hoping to have dinner after a hard day of nursing, both my daughter and myself, we didn’t get dinner, got offered a “free” sandwich that we already paid for and only after I questioned if this was really how she was going to make up for it, I was then offered a free fry and I could talk to someone else, then I guess it was her pleasure to disconnect me!
