2.10.2020 @ 1:15PM.. This place is hit and miss.. Today was the first time I have been in KFC for about three months.. Buffet chicken was very dry and lacking the taste / spice expected.. Lots of grease in the pan.. Biscuit was dry and crunchy.. had to be from the day before.. Had to ask for the bar to be stocked.. Chicken was placed in the same greasy pan.. Maybe the problem is the buffet.. Next time I will order a meal and see if that makes a difference... Update - Bought an eight piece chicken only bucket at the drive-up on May 13 2020 in the afternoon... Got home with seven pieces that were probably cooked yesterday... Update.. July 5 2020... $20 fill up at the Covid Drive -Thru... Absolutely nasty... Stiff biscuits.. old grease.. Half of the order was inedible.. Out of original at noon and had not even put down the next batch... I am done with this KFC... Update - had a weak moment today coming home and too tired to cook so I went against my own judgement and picked up KFC... Same old thing... dark from over cooking and old oil... Tasted burnt and was dripping with grease... Odd thing this time the pieces were the smallest I have ever had at KFC... Nasty... 0 Stars...
Update - Too tired to cook so I reluctantly when to KFC... Haven't been there for months... Several bad experiences in a row...
Today I had the best KFC that I have ever had... Whatever they are doing in there today (1.18.2021) keep doing it...
Update (4.18.2021) Bought 4 breast.. 4 wings original.. chicken only... Fantastic..! Never had better FKC... After several great orders during the pandemic with the dinning room closed and the staff relieved of tending the trough aka buffet.. I have concluded that the buffet needs to go... Before Covid I had many unpleasant experiences... Maybe drive up or home delivery is the way to go...
Update... If you want the best KFC that can be found.. go to the...
Read moreThe wife and I went through the drive through of our local KFC twice this week. The first time, a middle aged lady served us who has served us a number of times. I commented to the wife, “She is always so cheerful.”
On Sunday, October the first we went through again for lunch. The teenager who waited on us was very frownful. Not the hint of a smile, not even a thank you. As we pulled away the wife said, “Wow, what an attitude.” I said, ‘yep.’
About half way home we noticed they failed to put in the cole slaw I ordered. As we pulled back up I said, ‘You failed to put our cole slaw in.’ Not a word was said as she sullenly turned to go get the slaw. It was more than I could take. I told her, ‘You are going to run off business with your attitude.’ She said, “Well you yelled at me.” Totally not true. I told her as I left, ‘You need to get another job if you can’t work with the public and be kind.’ She said, “I will.”
Look, I get it. She is a teen. She hates every minute that she’s there. I don’t really know who is at fault the most here. Was it a rebellious teen refusing to do as she was taught or did someone fail to tell her that a smile and a THANK YOU comes with that paycheck. I understand things get left out. I understand people have a bad day. On your worst day a smile and a thank you (As you take money out of my hand) is not too much to expect.
To the manager: I would encourage you to go to the chicken restaurant right across the road from you and observe how their employees interact with their customers. Go buy something from them and take some tips on how your employees should treat YOUR customers. I like both places and I’ll be back but you really have some work to do or you have one really bad,...
Read moreI went through the drive thru. I ordered 3 famous bowl meals, 2 pcs meal, boneless strips meal and 7 pcs meal deal for $20. I paid for what I thought I ordered. I got home to find out I got everything meal wise and only 7 pcs of chicken. I called the local KFC and ask her why I only got 7 pcs and not side. She began to say “well what did you order, it should be on your receipt “ while I searched for receipt, she began to read off what was on the receipt. What she said was that they gave me what I paid for. I said wait I’m confused. I ordered a 7 pcs chicken with 2 lg sides and 4 biscuits for $20. Why are you saying I only was charged $10 for the 7 pcs meal. When I tried to ask a question she rudely cut me off and began to repeat her self. I told her I ordered a 7 pcs and ask to get dark meat instead of any white meat. She then says did you say you wanted the one with the side or just the chicken. I said well it wasn’t on your menu as with or without sides, also the lady that took my order did not ask if I wanted the one with or without sides. Then I ask “ how would I know that yall have 3 7 pcs options, on account of no one ask if I wanted the sides. How can yall expect me to know that you offer it if I’m not ask if I want it or not”. The lady I was on the phone with never apologized for not explaining everything so that I knew my options so I can actually get what I wanted. Now my kids don’t have sides with their meal because no one ask me if I wanted side or not, they just assumed I didn’t want it and run a hundred miles with it. This KFC need to hire people that will inform the customer of what’s offered to insure they customer is happy, and gets what they want! I am beyond...
