Always friendly here and food is good. They are usually busy but you are waited on quickly and friendly. Update: Food was good and came out quickly. The only thing a waitress I haven't seen before waited on us but she never came back. She took our order and someone else brought it out. She got a bigger tip from my husband than I would have given her. I will continue to go but I don't want her to wait on me. 2nd Update: Went today and again the waitress never came back. I ordered the plate lunch with a chicken breast and instead got a thigh and leg. Waved down a waitress and she seemed like it made her mad to have to go get a breast. It was written on the ticket what I wanted. Also the ticket was more than usual. I believe she charged us for her mistake. Next time we will go to Lulu's in Estill.priced. UPDATE: 4/7/2023 They were out of biscuits and gravy. Apparently also out of bacon, sausage, cheese and tomatoes. Our table ordered a western omelet and it only had ham and a tiny bit of green pepper and onion. Was not a western omelet. I ordered chicken strips and asked for bbq sauce. Another lady brought our food and pretty much threw it at us. Said my sauce and bread was coming. It didn't and when we had to holler at her to ask for it she gave us a really dirty look. Our original waitress brought the sauce no bread and said smartly "I wrote it on the ticket ". Doesn't matter about that we didn't get it. And still no bread plus she never came back to check on us. She could have as she passed our table over a half dozen times. She was given a bigger tip than she deserved. If I'd been paying it would have been a whole lot less. I hope Gloria reads this and...

So we are local, but only been here 2 or 3 times. The following are the reasons why both positive and negative. First- prices are very reasonable across the board. That's where the positive ends. My wife really wanted breakfast and there is lack of options here. Nobody felt like cooking so this is where we went. It was a Sunday, busy but not crazy. Walked in to see 4 or 5 tables not cleared. Finally they cleared one and we sat down. First 2 minutes a lady came over with menu's and silverware. Took our drink order and returned shortly. Asked if we ready, we said we just need 1 minute. All was going OK at this point. 15 minutes later, Nobody came back. Wife had to get up and get someone. The lady apologized but seemed empty. We ordered. Then 2 ladies starting bickering back and forth right at our table about another table then someone in the kitchen got involved. Food came out, no butter or syrup. Wife asked for an additional side and the lady gave the rudest look at her. God forbid someone ask for another item THE CUSTOMER is paying for you. They screwed up the scrambled eggs, way overcooked, wrong cheese. Eyelash in the gravy. It's like we had to fight to get served here. After all the food was present, nobody ever came back to ask us anything. We had 1 empty coffee and another drink was empty. Pathetic service and subpar food. My wife apologized to me because I didn't want come here because of past experiences like this. No reason my wife should ever apologize for a place that is absolutely horrible in...

Great little mom & pop! We stopped in one Sunday and it was a little busy. We didn't have to wait on a table. There were 6 tables full. There were 4 ladies working the dining room. Our waitress was nice and friendly.

Be careful what you order. Once we were served our food (by a kitchen runner) that had no idea what food was on our plates. She brought the food out and said, "I don't know what this is. Is it yours?" And places it in front of my mom. She then dropped my grilled toast on the floor. I waited about 5 mins for her to return. I decided she was not coming back and that I really didn't need to eat the bread any way. However, I was done eating before someone brought my BREAKFAST toast (it was prepared in a toaster and it was dry) WHAT?

In my opinion 4 ladies to a dining room was significant. Yet, we had to go to the register and wait for someone to see me to get our drinks refilled, & get to go boxes.

There were 3 in our party. (1) had hamburger steak, (1) had chicken fried steak, (1) had baked potato. Food was GREAT!! Baked potato was awesome.
