To start- the server was friendly...
However; The kids macaroni, was egg noodles with a weird watery liquid that had no flavor.. my child didn't like it..
The fries, no salt..
The "cheese steak" ill admit tasted good, but came with no peppers, onions, etc. But whatevet
The nicks pasta- absolutely horrible. Over cooked slimy noodles & the sauce had no flavor at all.. took one bite only ..
The "side salad" was lettuce. Cheese & a literally WEDGE of tomato & wedge of a cucumber.
The fried ravioli was great
The pizza, my kids ate so no complaints there..
I wanted to support small business. But from qn italian- not sure whats raved about so much because my family wasn't impressed.
But the worst part was that when we were paying, my husband asked why the bill was so high, she stated every item on the receipt & my husband stated he didn't take more than one bite of the pasta bc it tasted horrible & that the macaroni was weird & untouched as well, the cashier just repeated the total & completely didn't care.. we weren't looking for it to be taken off, BUT a simple acknowledgement of poor food would have been nice.
Won't return, or recommend unfortunately..
Customer service goes a long way but......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was by far the worst steak and cheese sandwich I have ever had. I got the āsteak allā one and it had tasteless sliced cheese melted over the top of jerky like steak, canned mushrooms, soggy green peppers, onions, and bread. I got fries on the side and bit into one and water came out of the fry because they were barely cooked, still cold in parts of some while also having a slight āfreezerā taste to them. I had to stick them in the air fryer when I got home. I ate a few bites of the sub and my stomach was turning minutes later. The only good part was the tzatziki dressing I got on the side to dip my fries in and the lady that checked us out when we got there was nice. It takes a lot for me to complain this bad, but this was just extremely disappointing. I hear lots of people brag about how good this place is and canāt understand why. I got a gyro a while back and they use the strips (Iām guessing steak-ums). Iāve tried to like this place, but the only thing I would ever get from there would be a slice of their cakes. Those have always consistently been amazingly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Gondola last week to get a pizza. I haven't eaten here many times, and it was the first time getting a pizza. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. The crust was very thin on bottom, and they pile on the ingredients, so I had to eat it with a fork, but it was really good. Decided to go back again and try something different since the pizza was so good. We got a Stromboli, chicken Parmesan, and meatball sub. They were all great! The place was packed. Apparently it is a very popular place to eat. The only negative (if you call this a negative) is that they had the tables very close together, and it was loud in there as a result of having so many patrons. Personally, however, I'd rather have to sit close to another table, and deal with some noise, than have to wait an hour to be seated. 4 stars instead of five for questionable cleanliness. All of the wait staff and kitchen staff appeared disheveled, and the general appearance, decorating, and ambiance of the restaurant is very outdated and seems neglected. The food was very...
