I apologize the way I acted, I shouldn't have acted that way, but that really pissed me off, I don't even say curse words so you'll know when I'm pretty livid... customers always come first and are always right, that is the age I grew up in and used to and that's the way it's supposed to be, I am 36 years old and I am noticing not just from Braums but other restaurants too, there's hardly any hospitality anymore, and the motto "customers come first" or "customers are always right". I was in the Drive-Thru speaker for about 5 to 10 minutes because the lady couldn't hear me she said she couldn't hear me but I couldn't speak any louder and they didn't have any other issues with the other customers but me so it's kind of like they knew I was coming by so they were doing that to piss me off... I wanted a four cheese burger with grilled chicken that's the first thing I said, I tried to make it simple for them and she kept ringing me up a number four and kept asking me can you repeat that and I don't want the meal, I just wanted the burger and then she ring me up a burger and I said no ma'am I wanted grilled chicken and she asked me spicy or crispy and I said I don't want spicy or crispy, I want grilled chicken and then she ring me up a meal with grilled chicken 4 cheese, I don't want the meal, I just wanted the burger... And then when I went to the window and I asked if you could put tomatoes on it, why would you put tomatoes between the cheese and the chicken? You should put the tomatoes where the customers can see it, that's the way I was trained when I worked at restaurants when I was younger, I'm not going to check between the cheese and the chicken for tomatoes, I'm going to expect the tomatoes are going to be between the bun and the cheese, and it's not really about the tomatoes that pissed me off, it's just tomatoes, it's not gonna kill me for not having tomatoes, it's the principle behind it, customers are always right and they always come first, there should be hospitality, you supposed to pretend that you're the customer and is that the way you want your order when it's given to you by the staff... It's all about presentation and the atmosphere and the hospitality and customer service and you know what customer service is to always make sure the customer is taking care of, making sure they are happy, customers always come first you should never argue with the customer, back in my day you could have gotten wrote up for that or fired... I apologize and if you want to apologize to me, I forgive you but I won't be going back there... Sorry, have a good day! I also like to add if you forgot something on your order and your at the window, they are going to ask you to pull around, NOPE! You Braums staff don't know how to work a freaking window, I use to work at restraunts as a drive thru worker and I've never done that, I add their order at the window, it is not hard, like I said there's no more customer service anymore and that's just sad... Customers are the reason why they get paid! No customers means...
Read moreI sadly don't order food from here anymore. Shame, because this place has HANDS DOWN the best shake and sundaes besides Sonic.
*Please have your staff learn and pass Food Safety certification. It's pretty easy to do and very necessary to avoid getting people sick or exposing them to bacteria or viruses.
I've seen employees scoop ice cream with their bare hands rubbing against the food (without gloves) after handling their phones or scratching their noses. The associates also don't appear to understand that if you touch something dirty with the glove, that glove is no longer clean (even if your hand stayed inside it). Don't stick it in the ice cream, or bacteria can be spread. Potentially viruses as well, depending on the type. Many are hardy to cold humid environments. Especially rhino viruses (like the flu), as well as bacteria like Salmonella, Listeria (of which a few food recalls in grocery stores happened this past year that resulted in some hospitalizations [NOT reportedly related to Braums- so far] ), and E.coli. The idea a cold environment is freezing so it kills bacteria is also a myth. It may kill some, not most. And certainly not all. That might not be common knowledge, but it needs to be in this economy-where hardly any of us can afford to miss work due to a sickness. If proper education is provided, and better management direction, that problem will probably clear up really quickly and easily. If you simply must check your phone every five minutes (understanding that's cultural norm now for the younger generations) please just wash your hands after. It only takes 30 seconds of scrubbing to get most germs off. That could spare someone days' wages lost if they get a high fever and could spare a family from all of them in the house catching that.
This is to educate, not shame, as we don't know if they were provided correct learning materials by the...
Read moreThis is by far the worst location I've been to so far. Idk if it was an off day or if it was just a bunch of new employees working that day, but the place was filthy. The workers were filthy. They forgot one of my shakes. The shakes were undrinkable because they didn't mix in enough liquid. The cashier was really really quiet and shy and wouldn't make eye contact at all. Didn't repeat back my order or ask if I wanted anything else. The food itself was alright, no complaints there. Both bathrooms were shown as "occupied" despite no one in them. So I guess those were just broken. Had security follow us towards the bathroom area. The security guard was hovering a lottt as if me eating at my table with my little brother and partner was suspicious somehow. I'm certain that my partner got profiled. The security guard wasn't hovering at anyone else's table like he was ours. I don't usually jump to "I think that was racism" but I'm pretty certain this time. My partner was the only colored person dining there at the time, I believe. I'm a braum's lover and I was trying to show my brother who was in town for the weekend a good time and share my favorite burger place with him. This experience was very unfortunate. I won't come back to this...
