Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Tulsa

This fast food restaurant was average. The decor was average. The tables and chairs were a little uncomfortable but average. The ladies bathroom was small, fairly clean, and...average. The food was EXTREMELY AVERAGE!

The young woman that waited on us was friendly and made you feel as ease. She was very patient and tried to answer the many questions we had because it was our first time there. She often had to ask another employee for the answers to our questions. She became increasingly nervous the more times she had to ask but was still just as pleasant and professional as she could be.

When we went to the counter to pick up our order we found out it was her very first day on the job. Now, we know why she was so nervous! However, she made up for any shortcomings because she was wonderful to interact with. We told she would learn what she needed to know in no time and not to worry because she had a special way with people which would be half her job. I warned her not to let rude an unpleasant individuals (and we all know they're out there) change her awesome ways.😀

There was a historical plaque on the wall just before you enter the hall where the bathrooms are located. If you don't do anything else read this plaque. It is the history of Carl, Jr's beginnings. It told of the couple's modest beginnings with a food cart on the street. It was interesting, heartwarming, and touched my heart.

Go or don't go, it's strictly up to you. Maybe the average food will be better. But if you meet a marvelous young woman that makes you special, tell her...

This location has gotten absolutely RIDICULOUS. I am sitting in the drive thru line for the THIRD time this morning because NO ONE HERE CAN SPEAK ENGLISH……I have repeated my order to them 6 times (no exaggeration) and they still are not understanding me. 3 biscuits, 2 hash browns and French toast sticks…..why can’t they even understand the bare basics of the menu that they are selling??? C’mon Carls Jr…this is ridiculous. Really….I am about to cry because these 2 women cannot understand my very basic order, on top of that they are yelling at me and just threw my uncooked food at me because I asked if there was an English speaking employee working the shift to help them understand my very basic order that they messed up 3 times. I demand a refund, I did not receive my food I ordered and was screamed at. Please role back your camera footage and watch on 10/18 @ 6:30am at 41st and Sheridan location Tulsa. Your employees should be REQUIRED to at least speak enough English to understand the menu you are selling and to interpret numbers. I told the woman 6 times that I needed 3 biscuits and she continued to hold up 2 fingers and tell me that I received my 3 biscuits. Seriously….do better. The onion rings were ok. The breading was crispy and thick. It tasted good, but could barely taste the onions. Poppers were great and the right amount of spicy. Being a Friday evening, I expected the place to be busy, and it was packed. Drive thru didn't even have space to line up, so I opted to go inside. There was just as many people waiting for counter orders. I don't consider the service to be poor. They were working their butts off. My only gripe inside was that people waiting for counter orders were blocking the mobile pick up area. I had to wait for all of them to get their orders before I could even say something to the employee about my order. The atmosphere seemed clean despite the crowd.

For a fair review, I'd have to go back when it's not rush hour and try some different menu items. Until then, they get a...
