Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Tulsa

Sad! Sad! Sad! I am so very disappointed in what happened today. My family and I decided to venture out in the frigid afternoon after being cooped up for a few days in the house. I was thinkin... Hey..lets go to Chick filet A. We can eat, and the kids could play in the play area. My 2yr old and 7yr old. We've gone multiple times in the past to eat and let the kids play to get out of the heat or cold. But today it was a whole different story. There were a bunch of older kids..5 to 7 years then a few that were around 2 to 3. Mostly bigger kids. Good 30 mins we're there. Pretty much the same for the other kids. All playing, all having fun. Mostly playing in the tunnel up top. All getting along. Then 1 little girl that just comes in starting trouble. Goes tells her grandma that all the kids are blocking the tunnel. Then her grandma I guess complained to a manager. There was already another employee checking in. Never 1 time they said there was an age restriction. Now because 1 little girl throwing a hissy fit, gets all the kids kicked out, that were playing..being good and all having fun. There is no sign on the door to the play area about any age restriction. It's inside tucked away. It's not even posted in an open viewing area. Ok. I get it. I understand an age restriction. This big huge play area is only for kids up to age 3. Are you kidding me? There is absolutely no way any decent parent would let a 3 year old or younger climb those stairs and go down that tall slide alone...that little. My 7yr old helps his baby sister who is 2 years old. Alot of this bigger kids were there little brothers and sisters. Helping them. So, what!!?? If a family comes in with kids of multiple ages 1 to 6 or 7, Only the families with kids under 3 can go play..while their siblings age 4 and up have to sit there and watch their younger siblings play??? That's kinda harsh. Oh no honey!! Only your brother or sister can play in there. You have to sit out here. That's wrong and cruel! Shame on you for not having proper signage and shame on you for letting 1 bad person ruin a fun day for a bunch of little kids. And what urks me more!!?? That lady and kid left after she complained and got all the kids kicked out. Shame!! Not very nice. No one else was...

We have never had a problem here before today- and we always have an amazing experience at all Chick-Fil-A’s, but this morning is ridiculous.

We came in to order and there was an employee standing there ordering- no one looked up initially or anything, which is fine, but we spent another 5 minutes or so waiting and no one said anything. Finally, we go order, and it takes an exuberant amount of time for her to put it in. We had to keep repeating ourselves too.

Finally, we pay and go sit to wait. There are many employees sitting and eating and some are playing loud videos on their phones.

About 10 minutes later, the woman who took our order came over to let us know she forgot to put in our fries, so asked us to come up and pay for them. We looked at her incredulously and said, “Umm…. Yeah? I guess?” and she said “Well let me see if I can do something.” And left.

She never updated us on anything.

Eventually someone came by with our food (sans fries) and didn’t mention them. So I went up to the front and wasn’t acknowledged again and asked how much longer I would need to wait. I overheard the cook shout it would be 5 more minutes, and I sat back down.

This is not a great look for ChickFilA.

Edited to add: I emailed the same day the below comment was left by CFA and have yet to hear back despite emailing again to ask when I will hear back. Seems they are trying to CYA publicly with no true intentions of...

UPDATE These people are crooked!! I'm shocked. Genuinely. I'm changing from a very generous 3 stars to 1 (since I can't give 0) These people replied to my review for POLITICAL reasons only. They TOLD ME they would "love for me to email them" then proceeded to IGNORE my emails for 2 weeks. I sent a follow up email and triple checked the address I was very polite and mentioned a few other things that happened that I left out of this review for COURTESY (courtesy that wasn't returned in the slightest) I NEVER ONCE asked for free stuff even though THEY, once again, said they would "love to" send me some treats LOL As a business owner myself, I'm beyond disappointed in their conduct and will never support this location again, not that the food is any good anyways!!! Save your money and drive the extra 10 minutes for the next Chick-Fil-A

Original Post: This location is normally good, but the Spicy Chicken sandwiches I got today are unbearable. The nuggets are okay, but pretty salty compared to normal. I don't know who is mixing their seasoning, but it most certainly isn't the normal ratio on either product. I had to give my Sandwich to my husband, who begrudgingly accepted the weird tasting thing. He didn't really want it either, but we're not about to waste $22, even though it already feels like we did.. Anyways, good luck! They're not consistent, which is disappointing for such a large chain like...
