Culinary Brilliance!! Every so often, a restaurant emerges that doesn’t just serve food, but it tells a story. Oki Mochi is that story, a radiant fusion of charm, creativity, and cultural soul. Family-owned and lovingly operated, this delightful gem captures the warmth of home while dazzling the senses with flavors that could only be described as extraordinary. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted not just by smiling faces, but by an atmosphere that feels lifted straight out of a Japanese anime dream, playful mochi characters, pastel tones, and a joyful energy that immediately sets the mood for something special. The heart of Oki Mochi beats with two inspirations: the artful precision of Japanese desserts/sweets and the bold, comforting complexity of Thai cuisine. The result? A menu that feels both nostalgic and new. The Thai dishes are vibrant and layered, each bite revealing the family’s devotion to authentic recipes and fresh ingredients. And then there are the mochi donuts; pillowy, glossy rings of pure delight. They melt in your mouth with that signature mochi chew, offering just the right balance of sweetness and texture. Paired with one of Oki Mochi’s signature bubble teas or bubble tea smoothie has each sip bursting with perfection while creating a dessert experience that borders on transcendent. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel like family the moment you taste the food, but Oki Mochi does exactly that. This is not just a restaurant, but a reminder that joy, creativity, and flavor can all live harmoniously in one place. Run don’t walk to Oki Mochi. Come for lunch, stay for dinner, and treat yourself to a bubble tea or mochi donut for dessert. Trust me: once you taste their marvelous creations, you’ll understand why everyone leaves...
Read moreDue to a glitch in the doordash app I was allowed to make an order on Sunday morning when they are usually closed. The woman who ran the shop called and let me know there was a delay to make my food due to the fryer not being active. Not really thinking about why it wouldn't be active in the morning, I waited patiently. When I got there the shop was closed and there was no one around. She opened the door and invited me in to get my order. It was only then that I noticed that the shop was closed. She never let on at all that she was working during non business hours. I asked and she told me about the glitch. I say all this to say that she was an awesome person to talk to and very sweet. I ordered a random variety of mochi donuts and they were amazing. I recommend the pomegranate mochi donuts. The milk tea was a great treat as well. I will definitely be making the trip to this place more often. I don't recall the women's name who works there but I thank you for treating me like we've known each other for a...
Read moreHonestly I’ve been to so many places to eat in tulsa, and this is the worst place I’ve ever been to lmao. Ive been to a lot of boba shops in Tulsa and this is definitely the worst. The milk tea was so nasty and it tasted like powder and the boba was hard in the middle and tasted dry, the doughnuts are also gross, Ive never had a bad donut but it was mushy and tasted like dirt. The service was also terrible, he couldn’t recommend anything, he was rude and had an attitude when i talked him trying to make casual conversation about the food, the place was honestly one of the prettiest shops I’ve been to so i was expecting a lot...
