So I wasn't sure if I wanted to write this review, but after two bad experiences I decided to change my mind 1. The Salon is clean and nicely decorated 2. Where they went wrong is that I specifically ask for highlights and lowlights. I am a natural blonde and I get my hair done every 6-8 weeks. It's super low maintenance and is very easy to do. Instead the girl insisted on highlights with two different toners.... For someone who washes their hair everyday due to allergies, toner does simply not work unless you just want to use one at the end, but it does not work as a primary color. With in 3 weeks it will all be completely washed out... I know this because I used to work at a Salon in Boston. So what ever, I let her do what she wanted.. which ended up costing me way over $300. What I should have had was a simple full highlight and lowlight with a hair cut. What I left with was almost more like a balayage, with two different toners and a cut, which I ended up having to come back the next day because the toner was very very warm. They charged me for "specialized blonding" and the two toners. What funny is that they said the next time I came in it would be less and they would just charge me for highlights... ummmmm 3. I lived in Boston for three years and the most I spent there was $340 for a mid level stylist who had been doing hair for about 8 years..... I was charged over that for my "special blonding"... that I didn't want, and the toners, and hair cut. Now the girl who did my hair has only done hair for FOUR years. I found this price INSANELY HIGH for someone who hasn't done hair for very long, and for living in OK. The next month I went back to my old hair stylist who I used to see, got my hair cut and highlighted with an olaplex treatment for $115. This is someone who has done hair for 20 years vs 4. Now moving onto my husband. 1. So we are expecting a baby, and I suggested him finding a barber closer to our house. I thought well, maybe there barber would be good. His haircut was so bad. Honestly I had to end up fixing it because it was not blended in the back. The barber was relatively new and charged the same price as my husbands very experienced barber charges. All in all, they overcharge for the knowledge that some of stylists have. I would suggest going elsewhere honestly. These are two pictures. The one with the straggle hairs hanging down is what the barber cut…. The other picture where it’s nice and blended is what I had to do to fix it. ****** UPDATE****** Since the owner has taken the time to address a few things, I will put in a response. 1. I maintain my highlights every 6-8 weeks. I’m a natural blonde, soooo my hair grows out very well. I have never had a stylist ever complain about my regrowth. Yes, Cameron.. who I was not going to mention out of privacy for the stylist did in fact fix my hair after I consulted with my stylist in Boston and we had decided that the “toners” were wayyyyy to warm. I’m not saying that after my hair was fixed that it looked “bad”, but I am saying I was over charged for something when I specifically said “highlights and lowlights”. I’ve worked at Boston’s top salon so I do actually know what I’m talking about to a certain degree 2. My husbands hair wasn’t styled in either picture… it was simply that bad.

I have never had a hair stylist as amazing as Bayleigh!! She always makes me feel valued and wants to maintain the integrity of my hair with every change or crazy idea. My confidence level raises with every appointment! I know I am getting the absolute best experience when I go to her. I have sent my family and friends to her and will always recommend her as she is such an incredible stylist! I recently moved out of state and I have my appointment booked to come back to Oklahoma because she is the only person I trust with my hair. Bayleigh, you’re an incredible and kind soul and I’m blessed to have you as my hair stylist 💓

I absolutely love Bayleigh! I have been going to her for a while and she always delivers! Yea, the wait can be long sometimes but she is worth it. Just saw her and she worked her magic (picture below). Also, stylist are human, they can get sick and have emergencies. Stylist do not intentionally cancel their appointments. They do not have PTO like some of us, if they don’t work they don’t get paid.

I am so very happy that I have found this gem of a salon!!! I went through many years of trying out different places that never met my expectations. I just wanted to find a place that offered consistant and good service. Well, finding Hello Salon was the pot of gold at the end of this ridiculous rainbow. I go to Ellie for my hair. She is a color genious! AND! My life of inconsistent haircuts is over! I am horrible at explaining what kind of haircut and style that I want. Ellie is able to decipher my ramblings and turn them into exactly what I have in my mind. Amy! She is the bonus that I wasn't even looking for but always wanted to add to my "beauty" routine. I am not one to splurge on myself. With Amy as my aesthetition, I don't have to splurge, but I get the benefit of feeling like I am. Her prices are very affordable. More importantly, her service is an absolute treat! As a woman of 44, my skin needs help. Since going to Amy, my face glows! My face used to be splotchy, starting to sag, and always with a degree of breakouts/black heads. Now I have glowing, even, and clear skin. But, the best part, that I didn't expect, is how calm and balanced that I feel mentally after leaving a session with Amy. She is calming and has a healing energy. I absolutely love seeing her. When I have to miss, it is noticed. So, why miss!? If you are looking for a Salon that is chock-full of possitivity, incredible talent, and resonable pricing, try Hello Salon. You will be so pleased with yourself...

If you were to go to anyone in this amazing salon, you have to go to Nic. She did my haircut and my Brazilian blowout and I couldn’t be happier! She always goes over what we were going to be doing that day, making sure all my questions are answered and that I feel comfortable before moving forward, which I really appreciated. She was super easy to talk to. Conversation never felt forced or awkward, which has sometimes happened with other stylists, especially when you’re there for a few hours at a time. She is extremely talented as a hair stylist. I would trust her to do anything and everything with my hair. She is one of very few people that were able to pull off exactly how I wanted my hair to be cut and made it looked perfect! After having her do my Brazilian blowout, that just took it to a new level of amazing! My hair has never been so smooth and silky with zero frizz. And I truly mean… ZERO frizz. It was worth every penny spent! Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about her as a stylist. You won’t be disappointed giving her and this salon a chance! Trust me. Also, Autumn at the front desk is very welcoming and professional. It’s nice to be greeted with a smile when you arrive and before you leave. Her customer service skills...
