The Lobster is back. Back to its old glory, like in the old days of endless shrimp? Probably not. It never was a five-star restaurant, but I have enjoyed some damn good meals there, and ate way too many of those cheddar biscuits. Usually, a special occasion brought us in for a plate of fish, shrimp and my favorite the snow crab. Inside the furnishings and décor look the same as they did 10 years ago. The menu seems smaller and some of the prices for the favorite platters are breathtaking. Everything everywhere costs more now. Seafood is a premium. I went for it with the grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon platter. A wallet buster at $38.99. No matter, I’m having it. Along with the fish you have a choice of two sides. The salmon was a generous slab of fresh mild tasting fish. The best item on the plate. The lobster small, the shrimp average and both covered with a seasoned melted butter. My wife had the Cesar Salad and the Chowder. The salad was large, fresh, mixed with tasty dressing and large flakes of parmesan cheese. The salad along with the thick creamy chowder made for a filling meal. She couldn’t finish it. The service from Luis R was excellent. Attentive and friendly. The Red Lobster rewind faces a strong head wind. Nearly every restaurant and fast-food joint now sells fried shrimp and French fries. That, combined high seafood prices and American’s shift to a preference for cheap greasy chicken wings is going to challenge their recovery. If you are thinking about a nostalgic visit to the iconic Red Lobster, better hurry before the ship sails for the last time.

It's back. Endless Shrimp 2021. The ad hit my Facebook page and I realized I had not been to Red Lobster in years. Cleared my schedule and headed there for lunch on Monday. Not particularly busy but staffing shortages being what they are in 2021 my server did an excellent job A++. Cheddar biscuits. They are as good as I remember. Light and fluffy with Great Flavor. Side Chef salad. Lettuce was fresh. Came overloaded with croutons and cheese...ratios were off but that's just personal preference as I personally know people who like it that way. 4 shrimp options this year. Ranking them from worst to best. 4. Grilled shrimp skewers. Shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Lacking in flavor. Give it a hard pass. 3. Shrimp scampi. I was genuinely shocked and how mediocre this was. Absent was a robust punch from the garlic or citrus overtones from some squeezed lemon over the offering. I have literally had better frozen scampi from Sam's club. A couple of pieces were definitely not on the fresher side but the rest were ok. 2. Breaded fried shrimp. This was just ok. On par with most fast food seafood outlets. Crunchy exterior and moist shrimp on the inside. 1. Coconut shrimp. And finally the star of the show appears. Breaded and fried with coconut slivers and the sweet dipping sauce. Exactly as I remember. Final thoughts. Was the place anything special. No. Pretty pedestrian experience but a great place to get shrimp in large quantities while endless Shrimp is being promoted....if you are not too picky.

Went here for thanksgiving 2023 as a surprise from my husband. 100% regret. I understand a holiday is hard to staff and that it’s a rough time for places.but there was only two other tables in the whole place while we were here.it took 2 hours to get all my food and everything.i ordered the holiday feast and got half of my food and it was all fridge cold.i had about a half inch piece of lobster when i ordered a whole tail.i ordered broccoli and got mashed potatoes.i had to get 3 sets of silverware because one had food on it with lipstick and everything and the other two had fingerprints all over them.i don’t complain a lot when i get food as I understand the stress it is sometimes and the server Jesus was great he quickly tried to fix everything.but this is ridiculous.the lady manager was super rude and tried to say that my food was fine and she “hoped I didn’t expect a discount”. all I asked was to get the rest of my $30 plate of food.at that point I told her it was fine and she said no we will replace your whole plate.i told her I didn’t want to do that as it took a few hours the first time and i had plans.she said no we will replace it.i sat there for 45 more minutes for food that came out just as nasty.if you hate working holidays so bad you probably shouldn’t have this job.we won’t be coming back here as I can’t imagine spending another couple hundred on nothing.

We arrived as a party of four yesterday around 6:00 pm, so naturally they are busy and there was a 15 minute wait which is 100% reasonable.

Our server's name was Jada and while she seemed friendly, she seemed slightly timid.

We are then seated two adults, two children. We order a beer and a mixed drink, along with two kid's sodas.

Drinks arrived and they were enjoyable. After receiving some bread, we order three entrees.  Two steak and lobster entrees and a steak for the kids to split. Our two entrees had two substitutions each. About 25 minutes go by and then food arrives, unfortunately the young lady that delivered our food was not our server and didn't ask us if we needed anything, as we immediately saw that the proper substitutions were not given.

My girlfriend ordered a mid rare steak and was given a well done one, with the wrong sides and I was given one wrong side.  Jada then shows back up with my correct side but not my girlfriend's.

We then ask for the correct food and also put in an additional round of adult drinks. Another 15 minutes go by and Jada is no where to be found with the side and adult drinks.

No more chances at this point, Jada arrives back at the table and admits she did not ring up our drinks and the side has still not arrived.

I then again respectfully express my displeasentries  with the service and kitchen and ask for the check.

Jada returns with the check along with advising us she slightly discounted my girlfriends meal and subtly says "I don't know if you guys will come back or not, but if you do, ask for me" .

Unfortunately I will be taking my business to the other Red Lobster on 51st Street because spending $36 on an entree that was inedible for my girlfriend and the only thing that was correct on it was a side salad and one lobster tail, that's not okay.

The $10 off the bill and no manager visit to the table seemed like mediocre customer service at best.

I have no problem with a $150+ bill for four but I don't appreciate...

I am completely dissatisfied with my experience here tonight at the 71st memorial location in Tulsa. Used to love going here but after tonight we might not go back. Service was slow. It took at least 15 minutes to get our drinks and they were out of almost everything. All they could offer was tea, water or lemonade and that's it. No soda which disappointed the kids. The food choices were limited as well which disappointed the kids even more! No mac n cheese for kids or chicken and just like the drinks it took FOREVER to get our food and our waitress kept disappearing. When we needed refills she was no where to be found and when she did return she smelled like smoke! It took about an hour from the time we ordered to get our food and when we got it , all the food was cold and it didn't taste as good as usual. Coleslaw dry and baked potatoes that was supposed to be loaded had no butter but when i asked for butter they said they didn't have any! When we asked for togo boxes again there were no boxes and they gave us very small cups to put our food in! Lastly they dont clean anything. I literally watched them take the dishes off the table next to us and didn't wipe that table down at all and they just seated the next customer. Just absolutely disappointed. I could understand if they were busy but it wasn't. It was very empty and in fact when we we were walking by the kitchen to go to our table i saw several waitresses in there on their phones! I had to save for a long time to take my family here and we only went out to eat because it was my daughter's birthday and this used to be her favorite restaurant and what she wanted for her birthday but this was a terrible birthday dinner for her. I feel so bad for her bc she was so dissatisfied. I feel like I just wasted 160 dollars and I could cry....

Worst experience I've ever had. Here we are on Valentines day trying to have a nice dinner, to show up and it was not very busy yet somehow took the server more than 10 mins to even take our drink order once sat. Order our food (we already knew exactly what we wanted) then proceed to wait over an hour after seeing several tables larger and sat after us already get their food and leave. We order the Wednesday special and the endless shrimp more than an hour before close, only to be told the kitchen won't make any more shrimp after 10 so we'd have to order all the shrimp up front. Over an hour of waiting and being told 3 times the food was almost ready for more than 20 mins to end up with no food. Asked to speak with a manager, never got to see one and while we waited to speak with the manager, the waitresses are sitting there dancing around in the dining area and claim the manager was busy doing other things. We never got to see a manager and ended up walking out. By far the absolute worst service we have ever received anywhere. Upon walking back in to try to speak with the manager one more time, all she said was sorry and that she would speak to the staff, essentially blowing us off entirely without any recourse to make the situation better. Will not be returning and will be sure to tell everyone we know not to go to this establishment. I've never been so appalled by the lack of service, and blasé attitude of an entire staff. What would've been a nice valentines day meal turned into a night of pure frustration, disappointment and empty stomachs. If I could give 0 stars I would in...
