Beautiful and quiet park for family and singles. Geese and turtles are by the pond. I was led here by God after a big faith move from SC and immediately the Holy Spirit reminded me of Psalm 23. Read moreThis is a strange park. It's literally BEHIND everything. Behind people's houses, behind apartment complex and behind big box stores so the loading ducks are facing the park. Not that that in and if itself is bad, just a weird sense when driving to it. No restrooms, no shade in the parking lot though the pavilions offer a respite from the sun. The pond is full of garbage unfortunately but the geese aren't too aggressive though they have marked their territory in goose poo well enough. It's a quiet little place but not much speaks for it...
Read moreThis park was nicer when it was colder weather due to less foot traffic. I usually take my dogs here for walks but this morning will be my last. Trash all over the grass near the tennis courts and glass on the sidewalks with beer bottles nearby. Certain areas reeked of urine. The one thing that really got to me..was a USED bloody tampon in the grass that my dog almost stepped on if I hadn't been paying attention. And to add, there's always some shady people just parked in the parking lot that have caused me concern...
