Fittingly, the service here was quick and friendly. What sets this place apart from chain-owned restaurants like McNellie’s Group is it is run by a Korean family, and it shows in its flavorful menu choices.
I ordered the bibimbap with spicy pork. With bibimbap, you mix everything in the bowl together and mix in as much sauce as you like. The beef bulgogi was already sold out when I came in about two hours before closing, so I went with the spicy pork instead.
The spicy pork isn’t overly hot. Flavorful but mild enough that I didn’t need to reach for my drink to balance out the spiciness.
