The Original Coney Island — Restaurant in Tulsa

Simple, fast, delicious... If you like a good, old fashioned, coney this is the place. They are small, like hot dogs used to be, so if you're really hungry you will want to order four or five. Twenty years ago I would have likely eaten five but two does me just fine these days. There are a few other items on the menu - frito chili pies, chili, chili spaghetti, and even a salad. But I can't imagine why anyone would come here and not order a coney. Fast, friendly service. The sort of place that when it's gone it will never be replicated. This excellent establishment is the exactly what you want. There's the original Coney, there are relish dogs, there are kraut dogs, there's Frito chili pie, they even have 3-way chili. We got there just before the door was unlocked. My wife had just gotten off work and was nearly hangry. She got a relish dogs. I got an Original with onions. The folks behind the counter were friendly and quick. Even though we were the first customers of the day everything was ready to assemble our orders. It smelled so good my wife didn't wait. I like an occasional hot dog but this place was just nasty . Tasted like they've never cleaned the grill couldn't finish one of the three that I ordered through the rest of the trash and walked out . Not going to ask for a refund or talk to the manager because something tells me they just don't care How bad it is This is the kind of place where people who grow up eating hot pockets and macaroni and cheese from a box . I had a hot dog from QuikTrip that was a hundred times better than this place...
