Normally I’m not the type of person to complain if someone makes a mistake, but this was an especially bad experience. My brother in law recently passed away unexpectedly, and my sister stricken by grief has had no appetite, I ordered pizza because it’s something I had hoped would rekindle her desire to eat. We placed our order of pizza, sodas and a couple other food items. Around the estimated delivery time I started checking the tracker because I had noted not to knock, having dogs I know to keep an eye out for deliveries. After a few minutes from leaving the store the tracker said completed, so I checked outside but there was no delivery, i figured maybe the delivery driver had become turned around on my road and was bringing it back down the street because our road is narrow so if you miss the house on the first pass you have to go down and turn around in the cul-de-sac and get to it that way. I checked again a couple minutes later and still no food or drinks. I called the store and let the manager know I hadn’t received my order, his response left much to be desired with their customer service. He said, “well I already sent the driver home, but we can remake it and it will be out in about 30 minutes.” Totally fine, I wanted What I ordered and was okay with the minor inconvenience. Our food was eventually delivered (and this time to the correct address) but I never received my drinks and one of the pizza was remade incorrectly. I was really upset by the lack of care or genuine human affection that should have come with such a simple order. I hope dominos makes an effort to correct the issues so that others do not suffer the same way I did, a simple pizza order is sometimes so much more and it is really disappointing that at a really low point we were not treated with better service. Hopefully this is not dominos choice to treat people this way and hopefully this was a fluke incident. Thank you...
Read moreUPDATE: I called and spoke to a manager (I know, sounds like a "Karen" move) she was very friendly and professional. I just told her that we wanted to let them know how the customer service was, so that they were aware. She understood and gave us a credit for next time. I appreciate how the situation was handled. Thank you.
"My family orders food from here almost every two weeks and have only had a couple issues, but tonight really disappointed me. We ordered 3 pizzas and garlic knots with marinara sauce. We picked it up curb side to avoid the $7 delivery charge. When our son got it home, one of the pizzas wasn't cut and there was no marinara sauce. My husband called, not to necessarily complain, but to let them know that they really need to work on quality control. The girl on the phone said "yeah, sometimes that happens.....Ill credit the .75 cents.....(20 seconds of silence) okay......is there anything else you need?" Read moreOrdered delivery around 9:30/10pm on a Monday night. Tracker showed that our food was delivered by "Darren" but it wasn't here, so I called to let them know. Was told it was actually still out for delivery and to wait another 10 mins. Gave it another 15 mins and nothing. Called again and got Darren himself this time. He said he'd have the food remade and brought out. 40 mins later, still nothing and now it's 11:40pm. Called the store to find out where our food is, and now get the "sorry, we're closed" message." They're supposed to be open another 20 mins yet. And now I've got an upset younger kid who stayed up late, excited for pizza and isn't going to get it. Guess I'll have to wait til morning and request a refund...
