Visited this place for the first time for dinner and I was so dissatisfied. The place seemed fully staffed but the service was very slow. Our waitress thought she was going to be able to take a family of five order without writing anything down. She repeated our order twice, both times wrong before she stopped us to go and get a paper to write it down. Once our large and expensive pizza came out it was bland. The best part of it was my crust I dipped in the $1.00 ramekin of ranch. The kids macaroni and cheese is on point though. It was cheesy and flavorful and the only reason I would come back. My children loved it! I asked for a fireball hot toddy and it came out barely luke warm. I reluctantly drank it and asked for another one but "hot please" and again it came out barely warm. Got the bill and realized I was charged $8.00 a hot toddy. Fireball is $7.50 for a shot which is extreme. I barely tasted the fireball and my drink was all pee warm water with two lemons...both times. I went to ask the bartender how much fireball was before I left and she was too busy to acknowledge my existence while I was being verbally assaulted by an over served heavily intoxicated male sitting at her bar drinking a beer. Finally I got someone to help me after asking multiple times and no one could find the fireball in the system under whiskey because they consider it a liqueur and that's what it's under. I will not return to this location again because of the poor service, rude bartender, over served guest, bland food and overpriced drinks. Went to this location on 10.5.19 at around 5. When we arrived there was a 1 top, 4, top and us, a 5 top in the dinning room. Not...
Read moreI have been debating writing this review because sometimes poor service is cirumstancial. It's weighed heavy on me though, so here goes. For the very 1st time in my entire life I left a big fat ZERO as a tip.
We had a party of 5. We were slow to be seated and no acknowledgement that we were even standing there. Once seated we got drinks pretty fast and our orders were taken in a decent time frame. That's where it all went downhill. It took roughly 35 minutes to get food, not such a big issue because it has to cook (calzones, spaghetti, and a pizza sandwich). The problem was not even once in that 35 minutes did someone check on us. We were literally the ONLY people seated a table and maybe 3 or 4 people at the bar. We all had empty cups at that point and loudly joked about how thirsty we were! 35 minutes without a single check in is horrible service. When we finally did get our food, we didn't have silverware. We did get it pretty quick though. We were checked on once while eating. Paid our bill and left disappointed. I should point out that my daughter, one of our party that day, has been a server for 8 yrs!! I do not take leaving no tip lightly!
A suggestion ... possibly offer the salad while waiting for food. It would have been nice to been eating salad while waiting and it would have brought our waitress to our table at least once!
We likely won't come back unless maybe for the buffet where we can...
Read moreI can understan that pizza is a matter of personal taste. The same goes with any food. So it's not always fair to judge the food because of personal bias. But, every food has a basic set of fundamentals that can be judged. For example, if your steak was stone cold. Or your ice cream had melted. Etc.
This pizza was seriously under cooked. You can see a layer about 1/3 of the dough raw and wet. The middle of the pizza was paper thin, yet the edges thick but undercooked.
The flavors weren't great, but I leave that to personal taste.
Also, there as a freshly made jalapeno pizza but they weren't serving it. I asked and they said no, it's not being served until the others were eaten. But I didn't want the others. It wasn't like there's another same jalapeno pizza being served while this one's waiting to cool off. No, the existing pizzas were all different flavors and I didn't want them. I want to try the jalapeno pizza. No, you eat the others first.
What kind of buffet and management was that??!?! How's that ever acceptable??? Maybe I should have taken all those undercooked pepperoni pizzas and throw them into trash, then they will serve the jalapeno pizza then?? In a buffet, YOU DON'T DICTATE TO CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY MUST EAT. YOU DON'T TELL CUSTOMERS EAT THIS OR THAT.
Horrible experience, horrible pizza quality, horrible time.
Never...
