Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

03/14/2025 Once again Jason's Deli is getting bad. Spent over 19 dollars for a to go salad and the container wasn't even half full. The call wanting to know why you aren't coming back anymore. This Jason's Deli is why, your prices are high and then the amount that is in your to go order is pitiful. 08/17/23 Things have just gotten worse. DONT COME HERE...

The staff is wonderful normally but heaven help you if JT is the manager on shift. He doesn't listen to his staff they have to remind him several times in the span of 5 minutes of things they need for orders and he just doesn't do them. My order was supposed to be ready at 12 and because he refused to listen to the cashier about what my order was missing it wasnt ready for pick up and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes so when the cashier had enough of asking for his help she went and got the missing items herself. Mind you she was operating the pick up line as well as walk in customers.. JT needs an attitude adjustment or be replaced.. Email me if you want to...

My visit to Jason's Deli made me realize that this is what I've been missing since I moved from Tuscaloosa 7 years ago. The salad bar gets 5 stars alone because it seriously put a smile on my face for the rest of the day! It is extensive (i.e. all the fixings you can imagine, pasta/potato salad, coleslaw, fresh baked mini breads)! I ordered 'The Rachel' sandwich and the salad bar for an extra $5. If you get the salad bar as an add-on to a sandwich, then you only get one plate and one trip, so make it memorable. I ate my salad bar options while there and packed my sandwich to go for later. So for around $15, I was able to have lunch and dinner lol. The sandwich was good, fully loaded with meat and came with chips on the side.

If you've never been to Jason's Deli, this is the location to visit. It was very clean and customer service...

I love coming here. I been coming to Jason's Deli since I was living in FL. Came in yesterday & this happened before but they getting skimpy with the serving of grilled chicken. I also didnt get the bacon I ordered originally. They only put one piece if lettuce on my sandwich and 1 little piece of tomato on it. Also 2 small pieces of onions.

I asked what happened and the staff simply said we only put one piece of lettuce on everyone's sandwich. I thought she was joking but she wasn't. I was smdh in disgust.

I was told if I want extra lettuce or onions I could ask. I said you cant be serious. Who wants just one piece of lettuce or a few onions on a sandwich. I just want what I paid for and the more and more places I go to I'm seeing a trend.

The food was nonetheless good, but disappointed in the original sandwich.
