As a person with a disability I have a service dog, whom I’ve had since October 2023. This is my first trip to Alabama to present at a conference and yesterday, as I was staying in the Capstone, I went to this restaurant. My service dog was acting appropriately and laying on the floor out of the way. We were literally the only people. And the waitress and the manager refused to serve us. They asked for paperwork about my service dog which 1) Isn’t and thing and doesn’t exist and 2) Is illegal and then refused to serve me due to their “policy.” When I requested to see their alleged policy, they refused to provide it. If you have a disability - do not eat at this establishment. Update: A person who works at the restaurant saw me outside the establishment crying, and asked me what happened. When I explained, he spoke with the people inside. And we were allowed in. The bar tender served me, and he was WONDERFUL. The two women who refused to serve me never even came over to apologize. The photo that’s attached is of Zoë while I finally ate my dinner.

The fish and chips are more accurately described as, “chips and fish.” With only a single piece of fish (frozen and fried, not fresh) and a healthy portion of fries, this dish is worth less than its $17 price tag. The dish is described as “cider battered fish” but came as a single piece of generically breaded fish. Service, however, was very friendly and prompt.

No wait at all on a Friday night. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. There was a a wide variety of food to chose from. I had the pesto pasta, and all of the veggies in it were delicious. My husband had the burger and he really enjoyed it. It was a fun dinner date and we will be back.

I called Friday to reserve a room when I got to the hotel a hour later I swiped my card to pay for the room .Well me and my boyfriend decided we was going to stay another day so he payed for another night with his card . Saying that when we checked out we noticed they changed us both double on our cards .Not to mention I had to let the front desk know I received a scam call on my room phone 10 minutes after I walked in .Someone say they was calling from Medicare.I was not pleased at all no one should have to go threw that .There was no reason for that to happen when two cards are used .I could see a mistake of double charge on one card but not both cards .I had a king size bed room also realized there is no microwave.I have never stayed anywhere where they didn't have a microwave. I also ordered food from down stairs the Cajun fish was horrible but the fried shrimp was good even tho I had to eat it with ketchup because they got my cocktail sauce .If I could give it a zero star I would.I try not to leave reviews at all but this...

Often the goodness of the food will compensate for the staff’s unfriendliness but that is not the case for the breakfast. I asked for a take out tray as I wanted to eat breakfast outside and thats when I got the feeling they didn’t want to be bothered. Some of the staff were nice and had a professional attitude but the others definitely need a better trainer. I worked at a hotel that was less prominent and their atmosphere was far more inviting and I know they can do better with the quality of food for breakfast. I cannot recommend this place to others after...
