I had an eye-opening experience here on bad customer service. My wife went there because our heating element went out on our dryer. She purchased the element from them for $88.95. She called me and I told her that this was a very very high price. I purchased the same exact heating element on Amazon Prime for $16.40. I asked my wife to get a refund from Appliance Parts. They refused. The box was unopened, had never made it home, barely out of the store. Appliance Parts said that their policy is no refunds even if this type part was unopened and just purchased. It really sounds like they just scammed my wife because she did not know any better on the high price. She just assumed that this was an honest place. Everybody needs to make a profit but something seemed wrong about this. After asking and pleading her case, the lady behind the counter reduced the price to $40. I was still on the phone to my wife and asked if I could speak to the Manager. The Manager refused to speak to me and started yelling at his employee for reducing the price (which was still $23.60 higher than exact part on Amazon). I asked again to speak to the Manager but he refused to even explain the policy to me……..nothing. So, I went down there. The lady behind the counter explained that their policy was no refunds. I asked to speak to the Manager and she told me where his office was. I asked if he would come out to at least speak with me. She refused to go get him because she had been yelled at by him. I asked if this was good customer service and she refused to answer really because she was scared of getting into more trouble. I went to the Manager’s office and he told me that I was not getting a refund because that was their policy. I told him that it was bad that he would not even speak to me to explain the policy and that his employees were scared of him. He stated that I have a right to my opinion. Wow!!! I have been to this place in the past and everybody seemed okay. If something goes wrong it is a completely different story. By the way, Amazon had already shipped my heating coil. I called them up and they are intercepting the delivery and giving me a full refund! Wow on their customer service! The Manager at Appliance Parts did not have the decency to give me the time of the day without me going to his office. He indicated to me that he didn’t care about me at all. I guess if you own a store you can have any policy you want whether it is good or bad, but being extremely rude and not even explaining the policy to the customer takes it to another level. In my opinion he knew he had taken advantage of us and did not want to discuss it. In my opinion, you need to stay away from this place unless you are okay with paying 5 times the cost and stuck with the item if something goes wrong. The Manager said that I have a right...

I was admittedly a little hesitant based solely on some of the negative reviews, but had them recommended to me by a friend. I’d initially ordered a cheap Chinese washer inlet valve on Amazon, but it leaked right out of the box. I was only able to find the OEM (Made in the USA) part online from 1 retailer and was looking at a week shipping time, so I went ahead and called this company.
I spoke to a lady, I believe her name was Shannon, who was perfectly friendly and helpful. She told me she could get the USA-made OEM part (for the same price as the 1 online retailer, by the way) and could have it by Wed (I called her on a Monday). They called me Tuesday around lunchtime and said the part got there quicker than expected and was ready to be picked up. Had my wife pick it up after work, got it home, confirmed it was the OEM American-made part, installed it and it worked as expected.
